Overview
HOSTAL GUATEFRIENDS is located at a distance of 1 km from La Aurora International Airport, 1.5 km from La Aurora Zoo and from the Archeology and Ethnology and Children's Museums. We have courtesy services: -Every day we serve Guatemalan breakfast from 7:00 - 9:00 am -Transfer from/to the Aurora airport (check schedules with the establishment). All rooms have plasma TV and WIFI in common areas. Some rooms at Hostal Guatefriends have a private bathroom, shower and toiletries. We also have Mixed Shared Dorms (Towels and toiletries are requested at the reception, there is no cost) We do not have a kitchen for guests to use, however we do have a small store inside the hostel, you can also use the UBER Eats app for home delivery. PAYMENT METHOD FOR YOUR NIGHT RESERVATION -QUETZALEZ Q -USD Dollars (please ensure the bills are in good condition, unmarked, that are not broken and have no tape, This is not only for us, also in all Guatemala) If the bill is not in a good conditions we WONT accept it. -Credit/Debit card (with a 6% fee) VISA and MASTER CARD Only It will be a pleasure to receive you.

“When looking for a modest-priced stay without my small dog-they do not take dogs-I would stay again.”
The private room was very comfortable. The dormitory room, which I had to be moved to on the second day as my room was previously booked, had hard noisy mattresses but again was adequate. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The location is good. The entire place is clean and pleasant. There was a taco stand down the street where one can eat dinner.

“Modest hostel, simple and served the purpose for one night in between travels.”
Had a dorm room to myself which was very convenient. They also waited for me to arrive as I came around midnight , which was great. Property was clean, all very simple. They send a nice message before trip begins which was great to get oriented for arrival.

“Friendly, great value for money”
This is a very nice place to stay, walkable in 10 minutes to the airport or they offer a shuttle. Very comfortable bed with quality bedding. Traditional GUATAMALA breakfast included. Strong 5G WiFi. Also stored my luggage for 2 dollars per day whilst I went to Flores. Very nice experience.
