“Rare gem on Booking- i wold gladly move here :)”
This house is pure magic - we were there for new years with our baby and we liked it so much we came again in 3 weeks with friends this time. Its not a regular accommodation but truly a house built with love with plenty of carefully decorated details that make you feel at home. The fireplace, the kitchen, little library, all offer a unique warmth along with a barbecue and a splendid view. Place has a huge garden and you can even access the forest. Most accommodations in Guatavita are glampings or small hotels - while its all fine, this house is a far better option for a unique stay. Another advantage- you are 10 min walk from the center and you feel like you are alone in nature. Oscar is a wonderful, kind host. He let us invite other friends for barbecue which was very nice.

“Really a great stay in the area, would visit again.”
It is quaint and really sweet with a beautiful environment. The host was wonderful and lots to do close by. The night fires at the fireplace were a highlight. Everything you need for a stay was provided.
