Lovely location away from the bustle of the town but overlooking the peaceful lake. Well equipped kitchen that was clean to use. Comfortable and clean rooms. TV with Netflix Powerful shower with hot water Plenty of blankets for cooler weather Nice terrace to enjoy They did our laundry too English speaking guy on reception Our best Colombian accommodation so far

Lake View is very clean and the communal areas are comfortable and pleasantly decorated. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room i had was clean but quite basic. It had a small verandah which was nice. There is a fair-sized kitchen in which to prepare your own food if you want. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby to get food if you prefer. Overall, it felt like very reasonable value for money given other places I have stayed in Colombia.

LOVED LOVED LOVED this hostel! The room was stunning and comfortable. The balcony and lake view was so cute. The roof terrace was lovely too. The staff were so friendly and incredibly helpful! It’s a little walk out of the town, but it’s quiet and you get a lovely view!

Such a lovely hostel either the view on the lake. It has great location, close to everything. The kitchen is available. People at the reception always helpful when you have questions. I liked my room, you have privacy, and there were shelves! Many times there is no place to put your stuff. Bathrooms clean. Top floor was very nice, plenty of seating, balcony, rocking chairs.

“Fantastic stay in guatape”

Amazing views from the 2nd floor over the lake while having a self made meal. The staff is always friendly and willing to help you sort out questions. For my bicycle they offered space in their garage. The beds in the spacious rooms are comfortable and with curtains for some privacy!

Love the privacy curtains. Big lockers. Warm showers. Clean. Staff was helpful. Great communal spaces. Can walk to everywhere.

“Comfy hostel close to the city”

Calm, clean and comfortable hostel in a quiet area but still close to town. Nice view to the lake. Ample rooms, lockers and private bunk beds with curtains. They even offer free coffee in the morning.

A lovely hostel in central Guatape. As a family of 4 we had 2 x double rooms with lake views and en suites which were clean and comfortable. The small kitchen was fine for making hot drinks and breakfast etc. Unfortunately the Thai restaurant was closed but lots of places to eat nearby. We hired double kayaks one day from the hostel which was fun and enjoyed relaxing in the communal area on the top floor which had nice views. The hostel staff were amazing on the day we left when, due to heavy rains there were numerous landslides and road closures, meaning we were unable to get to the airport by car as planned. They went out of their way to find out the situation and arranged a speed boat to take us across the lake to a waiting car who got us to the airport in time (very James Bond) - so helpful and highlights how amazing hostels can be for helping out when things don’t go to plan. Would recommend to travellers of all ages including families.

Good beds with curtains and large shelf to put your stuff. Beautiful terrace and common spaces, lots of bathrooms that were always clean. Kitchen is well equipped enough to cook. Location is great, 3 minutes walk to the touristy center of Guatapé.

“Wonderful hostel, great location and good price!”

I loved this hostel and would definitely go back. I booked a private double room for a great price and it felt like such a luxury! The room was so clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was lovely with a great shower. The location was perfect, a 2/3 minute walk to the main street. The man at reception was extremely helpful. I would recommend this hostel very highly!

This is a very comfortable place, with good equipment in the kitchen, comfortable beds and large lockable lockers, even in the dorms. The location is quiet, but still within walking distance of the center. Great place!
