“Amazing views and a lovely host”

The lady who runs the place, is easily the loveliest person i met on my entire trip round Colombia. The views are amazing just like the pictures. I hired a kayak to go out on the lake, which was very tranquil. Bus station is about a 10min walk away. I did enjoy the novelty of having a bath out on the balcony

Extremely friendly staff, amazing views and good breakfast

We chose the Presidential Suite as it had a wonderful view over the lake and El Penol in the distance. Waking up in the morning with the 180 degree view was a real treat. The hotel is on the edge of town which means it's quite but just a short, safe walk to the centre.

Such an amazing/tranquil stay with amazing staff, views, and a wonderful balcony bath! The manager was incredibly friendly and attentive which made the stay perfect. Wonderfully flexible too and helpful beyond.

Everything was absolutlely awasome, the rooms, the breaksfast, the view, the balcony with the bathtub was amazing, everyone was very nice and helpful. The location was also prefect, not very far away from town, 10min aprox, but quiet at night time to rest.

The view was amazing, the hotel is out of the traffic area and busy streets, but everything is still easy to reach in an easy 5 minute walk. The breakfast was very good. Sandra was very friendly and helpful. I would come again.

Beautiful location with nature views including the lake and El penol in the distance. The room was clean. The property was well maintained and felt very safe. Breakfast was delicious. And the staff was absolutely wonderful. And for those who are unfamiliar with the town, it is absolutely beautiful and worth your time. I would strongly suggest staying at least one night so you can take your time and enjoy the bright, beautiful streets, friendly people, and beautiful views.

We picked this hotel for the view over the lake to the rock, and it did not disappoint. We spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying this view.

“Great place to relax after a day in Guatepe”

Our stay was simply amazing, nice views, quite location but still walkable to downtown, kayak rental, super friendly stuff and delicious breakfast. Highlight was the bathtub on the terrace, we would always come back!

Great place!! Highly recommended!! The room and bed were super comfy. The staff, especially the lady in the reception (apologies i dont remember her name), was super friendly and helpful. We had an amazing time, wished we could have stayed longer!

“Perfect Lake Side Accommodation”

We stayed in the presidential suite and it's was well worth it. Huge room.and huge bed. Overlooking the lake and with a small grass terrace just for our use it was peaceful and pleasant to sit there in the late afternoon. The room even had 2 chairs (which is rare) so a couple can both have one rather than having to sit in the bed! The breakfast was good and served overlooking the lake. Staff have limited English but can easily make sense of what's being asked with limited Spanish. Hotel location is great, 10 mins walk to town or get a tuktuk for a small amount.

The location was perfect for us: 10minutes walk to the crowded and noisy main square, next to the lake, basically the hotel can rent you kayaks and you can go into the water from your building, and the view from our room was perfect. The neighborhood was friendly and local, stores in 100 meters
