I really enjoyed the place, decoration and how comfortable the beds were. You have everything in hand, the location is great, just right beside El Peñon de Guatapé and super close to the town. The personell, Johan and Nathaly and all the crew were kind, attentive and always ready to assist any needs. They are great professionals and people. Breakfast was delicious!! 😋 They speak English and it is great for all kinds of visitors.

“Not very comfortable but close to the Penol”

The view from the room was beautiful, over the reservoir and the Penol. It's very easy just to walk up to the Penol from the hotel. It's just next door.

Excelent location, cosy rooms, super hospitable and helpful personal. Houses are located on the the hill, so you have incredible view from any point of hotel. The excelent mark!

Lovely place just next to the rock, beautiful view to the lake. Staff is really nice, we could enjoy the breakfast in the terrace, or good dinner. Biliardtable is a big plus.

It was next to the rock El Peñol, one of the best views, for the rock and the water dam Guatape. the team was amazing thanks to Nathalie the manager, Johan, Julio, Judith and the owner Gisele for the beautiful welcome and attentions with us, we want to come back again next time and recommend Zocalo Campestre to all our friend in Australia

Best view of water. If you arrive in the afternoon stay here for the 2 hours before sunset, get great photos, go into town for dinner (just ask for tuk tuk if you are not driving), climb the rock in the morning, and explore the town after breakfast, have lunch and go back to Medellin. You want to be on the property around sunset.

good, but all hotels now should offer drink options witout suggar, as the population has different health needs. They preapered the eggs as I needed it. Thanks

Absolutely gorgeous views of Guatape from anywhere in the Hotel Complex, and when you are done looking down at the lakes and greenery, you turn around, and the big Rock is there! Best view to accompany breakfast, a meal, or a beer! Really polite and helpful staff! Would have stayed longer if I could!

We chose the Zócalo Campestre Hotel because it is located close to the main attraction of El Peñol. We were very lucky not only with the location, but also with the hotel staff! Natalie, the hotel manager, was always in touch and helped us with all requests and questions!
