Amazing rooms and view, lovely staff.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Le Chateau Guatape -very friendly staff, easy check-in -we had spacious rooms (there are different, some could be smaller) -the beds are "OK" (but still slept well) -the location is quiet (unless a few disrespectful guests are present :-( -Free water/coffee/tea dispenser in the lobby -located in a nice, safe area -Restaurants and attractions in less 10 mins walking distance -a fair price-performance ratio(!) -Wifi worked perfectly -they have a kitchen and dining room (we only made coffee in the morning, so I can't say much about) -we appreciated the in-house laundry service; no matter how much, they charged us COP25k “*We can really recommend the Hotel Le Chateau Guatape**

Loved our stay here - felt super luxurious with bath robes in the room and the beds were very comfy. It’s quiet as you’re a bit further out of town but the walk into the centre is lovely.

“great location with a great view of the rock”

I loved the location and the accommodation but I had no hot water in my shower for the duration of my stay or WiFi. We did tell the staff who were friendly but they couldn’t fix it. I had to go downstairs to shower in another room. Also it was supposed to be a well kitchen. The lights did not work and the kitchen had no cooking utensils which was a shame because it could have been a great place to cook and enjoy eating on our terrace.

We loved our rooms with big balconies, plenty of light and air and comfortable beds The hotel is in a great location and the staff were friendly and helpful (especially Andreas).

The place is nice, short distance from the center, there is a shared kitchen with another appartment.

“Incredible in every way!”

I loved so many things about this boutique hotel. The staff was so kind, the location is perfectly distanced from the town center and the rooms were exceptionally cozy. The attention to detail was amazing! I would absolutely stay again

“Well maintained and lovely staff”

Really sweet staff - one receptionist in particular went out of her way to make sure the jacuzzi was perfect for us when we requested it (it does cost a bit extra to use the spa). The hotel is really well maintained and has lovely communal areas at the front of the hotel and on the terrace. We ended up extending our stay an extra night because we loved Guatape and the hotel so much.

“Good place to relax”

The hotel is located outside of the busy center but close enough to go there by foot. This means that it's quiet at night, a blessing in Colombia. I loved chilling at the roof terrace in the afternoon, the hammocks are comfortable and the view is amazing. Devon is really kind and I enjoyed getting to know her better. The kitchen has all the amenities you need if you would want to prepare yourself a meal. I would definitely stay here again.

“Such a little gem!”

Amazing atmosphereand decor! Perfect for a romantic break. Very comfortable bed and lovely hot shower. We've appreciated the complementary tea coffee and free drinking water. The staff was lovely, Monica gave us great advices and helped us with arranging a motochivas to la piedra. And We've had a good laugh with Devon. Thanks a lot!

“It is a cozy quiet place to stay”

The reception at the frontdesk was very good. There was a little change with the ubication of one room, but within an half hour we had arranged and got solution about that matter. The staff did their best, so everybody was so satisfied. The staff was well going persons with their feedback we received.

At arrival we were able to get a upgrade for a small fee, and we were so happy to get a beautiful room with balcony and projector. Staff was really kind, shower amazing and very hot, kitchen was great for our needs and the bed was really comfy. Beautiful views, and short walk to the main area. Would stay again, however the noise coming through the closed windows and doors was a problem and only reason it's not a 10.

“More like a hostel”

The room was nicely decorated and comfortable bed. The TV had netflix. The staff was also very welcoming, friendly and helpful. 2 well equipped kitchen with blender, coffee machine and everything you need. Terrace with great views. Short walk to the center. We really enjoyed the stay.

“Nice hotel in Guatape”

Nice hotel that matches the photos. Located near the city center but far enough away to be quiet. Some rooms have a balcony, otherwise you can go on the rooftop with beers to enjoy the view of the ' El Peñol'. A jacuzzi, hammam and sauna complete the service for a small additional cost, but are not open every day.

“Nice hotel in the future if service is improved”

We stayed in the huge room called Industrial. The bed is very comfortable, the beamer TV is fun, all the windows and the huge balcony are wonderful, you'll get the best view. The bathroom is small but pretty clean. The location is just far enough from the tourist masses so you get a very good sleep.

Le chateau is comfortable and beautifully decorated. Nice addition of a projector in the room with Netflix/YouTube/Amazon prime. Helpful and friendly staff and use of communal kitchen.
