Great breakfast. Very friendly host. For most of the night a very active firefly flew around the roof of our tent (outside the mosquito netting) which gave a very romantic feel to our stay :)

Perfect Location to spend the first night in CR after a long flight if you plan to visit Puerto Viejo the next day. Excellent breakfast. Klaus, the owner of the property, was very kind.

Beautiful garden with cozy tents. You can really feel and see the love the host put into it. The host was very friendly, warm and attentive. Also gave us some good tips for activities. Would certainly stay here again!

We just stayed for one night while traveling but we would have stayed longer had we known the place before! Klaus is an amazingly friendly host. He took a lot of time to show us the property, served excellent breakfast and offered dinner and was all around pleasant. The guest house is well built and comfortable. There is a lot of forest in the area that you can probably go hiking in (we haven't tried given the brevity of our stay).

Enjoyed sleeping in the teepee. Our flight was delayed so we arrived late. Klaus came out to the highway too meet us. There’s cabin lodging as well. Woke up to beautiful orchestra of nature; birds whistling. Klaus welcomed us warmly. Facilities are very clean and water pressure is good. We got a tour of the lovely garden with fruit trees. Delightful. bountiful breakfast with coffee and juice, homemade bread, eggs, plantains and more. What a way to spend our first night in Costa Rica! Would love to come back. Thank you.

Klaus the owner of property & his wife made us feel so welcome.. the food was outstanding & any questions we asked were answered in an unbiased fashion. This was our first night in Costa Rica & a perfect launch pad around 1 hour from the international airport.

Wonderful grass hut conveniently located between San Jose and Tortuguero, lovely start to our holiday!

“Lovely family home stay, well located as a stopover on road trip through the area”

It was like fancy camping outside but in cool little huts with a bed. Mosquitoe nets were useful. It's a really nice family who run it, and took us to the river to swim and hang out, through the jungle. There's yoga mats and a whole room to practice in, among other lovely details. Breakfast was included, amazing German home made bread and artistic fruit plates! Really sweet. We stayed as en route to break up the long drive from La Fortuna to Porto Viejo, and it was a prefect middle. There's also a restaurant nearby, walking distance.
