Convenient location, lively area with lots of foods and shopping malls around the hotel. The hotel breakfast, facilities and services is top notch. The front desk team members Cindy, Miya and David are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended and would definitely comeback to stay at Marriot if visit Guangzhou again.

I recently stayed at the Marriott Guangzhou Tianhe and continue to be impressed. Although the property is slightly older, it is genuinely one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. You won’t find a speck of dust anywhere — every surface is impeccably maintained, which speaks volumes about the housekeeping standards. The location is unbeatable for shopping and convenience, sitting right next to Grandview Mall and Parcel Central. Whether you’re picking up deliveries or planning a full shopping day, everything is right at your doorstep. Tech and connectivity were excellent. The TV setup makes casting from your phone effortless, and the Wi‑Fi was strong and reliable throughout my stay. The staff were consistently helpful, polite, and responsive. The concierge deserves a special mention — managing my deliveries flawlessly and keeping my luggage for two nights while I was out of Guangzhou. It made travelling so much easier. Water pressure was great, and the mattress was comfortable. Travellers used to very plush Western‑style beds should know the mattress leans slightly firmer, but as someone with chronic back pain, I still found it supportive and very comfortable. Another highlight was the wagyu hotpot dinner. It was incredibly tasty, with generous cuts of meat and a great selection of alcoholic drinks already included in the price — excellent value and a must‑try. Breakfast was also a standout. The restaurant-style attentiveness from the breakfast staff made mornings genuinely enjoyable. The food selection was fantastic — everything from Chinese wonton soup to beautifully presented waffle shelves with ice cream, plus the best range of flaky pastries I’ve ever seen at a hotel buffet. Overall, an exceptional stay. Clean, convenient, delicious, and supported by a team that truly understands service. I’d absolutely return.

Room was felt luxurious. I was able to see Tianhe shopping center from my room. Location was amazing with plenty of food options from nearby mall. Everything was amazing down to the bathroom.
