The Yingbin was an exceptional Hotel is every way. Highly recommended Guangzhou is a vast, sprawling city, which can make choosing where to stay a challenge. As a solo female traveller, I selected the Guangdong Yingbin Hotel for its central location and historic character—and it proved to be an excellent choice. The hotel is conveniently close to major attractions, including the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Shamian Island, and Beijing Road. Situated on a main road, it’s easy for Didi drivers to locate, while Dongyuanqian Metro Station is also nearby, making it simple to get around the city. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and efficiently run. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants within walking distance, and the surrounding area feels safe and comfortable to explore. A generous upgrade to a suite for my three days was appreciated. I would highly recommend this hotel to solo female travellers seeking a convenient and secure base in Guangzhou.

Really central, nice restaurant, comfortable and big room, which they let me check into very early. Christine was very kind to me by ordering and delivering a meal to me when I was feeing sick and after the restaurant had closed. She spoke English very well. Thank you Christine!

We stayed at the Ling Nan king bedroom on the 2nd floor which had a large balcony with a lovely view of the Chinese garden with majestic old banyan trees. The room was beautifully decorated and luxurious. Its location is a convenient 10 minute walk to the Gongyuanqian metro stop. I would definitely stay here again.

An absolute highlight of our Guangzhou trip! My family and I loved the Yingbin Guangdong Hotel. The room was incredible and the breakfast was a daily treat. The entire staff is superb, especially Kyle, who did everything in his power to ensure we had a great stay. We are already looking forward to visiting again. Thank you for everything!

Though a little isolated, the property really is something special. Staff were very helpful, especially Kyle and Hinze on the front desk both of whom nursed us through a 3am taxi booking and were always willing to help. A VERY chinese hotel with limited English spoken, but those who did were very keen to help out. A quite good buffet breakfast was provided. Again heavily marketed towards the 98-99 % of guests that were Chinese, but there was still toast and eggs bacon, cereals and porridge for the few westerners staying there. The rooms were huge, if your budget allows rooms in Bihai building have very large private balconys, automsted curtains and handsfree flushing toilets Set on lovely grounds this historic hotel is certainly an experience, and though a little isolated it's about 10 minutes in a taxi to the walking street, about 20rmb

Staff is professional, polite and helpful. The architecture has a grand feel to it due to its previous official use. Walking distance to Beijing Road. Across the road opposite the hotel, there is a Michelin Bib restaurant. Grand dim sum restaurant inside and just round the corner outside the hotel.

“Beautiful hotel and amazing staff!”

The hotel and hotel grounds were beautiful and perfect for a night or morning walk. It had many restaurants which was very convenient when you check in late or don't feel like looking for a place to eat. we only tried one of the places, but the food was very delicious. The location was good as the bus stopped right in front of the hotel. For the metro you had to walk a bit further which can be troublesome when you have trouble walking. The staff were very kind. Very accommodating and helpful going above and beyond. Unfortunately most of the time communicating in English was a little difficult, but Chinese is no problem. The room was spacious and tidy. The room service made sure we had everything we need and were very welcoming to us. The down side is that many guests we stayed with on the same floor were smoking even though it is a non-smoking hotel. All in all we loved the hotel, the location and the staff who helped us were exceptional!

The room is big and spacious enough for 3 big luggage. Aircon is cold enough and water pressure is excellent too. The hotel is situated away from the bustling area and surrounded by trees so it feels tranquil.

I stayed at Guangdong Yingbin Hotel during my business trip to Guangzhou from April 25 to 30, and the experience was absolutely excellent. The hotel is clean, elegant, and well-maintained, with service and amenities that truly meet 5-star standards. My room was spotless, the facilities were top-notch, and room service was prompt and professional. What really made my stay exceptional, however, was the outstanding customer service especially from the Assistant Manager, Kyle. From the moment I arrived, Kyle went above and beyond to assist with everything I needed, whether it was help with my room, answering my questions, or assisting with day-to-day matters since I don’t speak Chinese. His English is great, and his support made a real difference in my trip. After my initial stay, I had a booking at another hotel from April 30 to May 4, but unfortunately, that experience was extremely disappointing. I immediately contacted Kyle, and he quickly helped me secure another room at Guangdong Yingbin Hotel from May 1 to 4, even on very short notice and at a great rate. The location is also excellent, very accessible to major local wholesale markets, and they offer a free shuttle bus to the Canton Fair, which was a huge plus. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Guangzhou, especially for business travelers. Thank you to Kyle and the entire team for making my stay so comfortable!
