The hotel is in a convenient location — not too far from the Canton Fair, about a 10–12 minute walk to Tancun metro station. They also provide a shuttle service to the fair and pick you up after. The room was nice and clean, with good water pressure in the bathroom and all necessary amenities. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily. I also liked that you can wash and dry your clothes, and detergent is provided. Lights and curtains in the room are automatic, which is a nice touch.

The best was the laundry service for free. You just leave it on the morning and same day on the afternoon was dry and clean.

“It was our first visit to China and Arthur Hotel played a big part in making it a memorable one.”

The hotel manager Leo and his team were amazing. My husband injured his foot while travelling to Guangzhou and needed to see a doctor. Leo was so genuinely concerned, he immediately called for a taxi and took us to the nearest hospital emergency unit even though it was 10pm. My husband received very efficient medical attention and needed to see other specialist doctors. Leo arranged everything and accompanied us to the hospital over 3 consecutive days, helped with the translation, waited with us and came back to the hotel with us after the visits, even offering a final visit just to make sure he was well. The hotel is lovely and very comfortable, they thought of everything including a complimentary laundry room for guests. The amenities in the room are also of great quality and made our stay very comfortable.
