Offering stunning panoramic views, this colonial hotel is located on a high point of Guanajuato City. Hotel Paseo de la Presa features an outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court. The rooms were spacious with a window onto a little courtyard. The rooms were cleaned well daily. Beds were large, comfortable and made with cotton sheets - essential in the hot weather. Basic toiletries provided. The pool was a good temperature. The bar was basic with a reasonable range of drinks. Breakfast was good generally

“A pretentious hotel with a nice panorama.”
The place where it's located offers a beautiful view of the city of Guanajuato. Even if we had a delay upon arrival there was someone waiting for us at the reception of the hotel.

“beautiful hotel with great breakfast”
1) the breakfasts were great, amazing selection of teas and waiters made us feel comfortable voicing our needs 2) the building was beautiful 3) the staff were very helpful, helping me with calling a taxi and laundry etc 4) the beds were super comfortable and the view was stunning, the balcony was very cute too

The hotel is halfway up the mountain, it is windy at night, and the bathroom vents are very noisy (a little scary at night). The sound insulation is not good either. There are children next door who quarrel until midnight and start quarrelling again at seven in the morning.

The location is perfect. Easy to get to. Then to get to el Centro, a 1 minute drive to secure parking , then the Funicular to the center of town!!

The worse breakfast of my life, they charge extra for everything, it was terrible experience, I felt like me and family got scammed.

“Disappointing.”
Washroom is not well ventilated. Poor sound insulation, you can hear the noises from everywhere, wind from outside and people talking. This hotel doesn’t provide toothbrush. And it didn’t even provide hair-dryer until I complained.
