“Not worth it -”
I came across 2 cockroaches in my room which made me feel very uncomfortable for the entire stay. The floor and sheets also didn’t seem clean. The entire set up with no reception made things awkward - you only communicate with the hotel through WhatsApp which is confusing. Considering how much I paid for this room, it really wasn’t worth it.

“No Frills, Comfy, Clean, Central & Good Value”
El Viejo Zaguan is located only steps away from Diego Rivera’s house & other art museums. There is an adjoining cafe, which I did not use, but which seemed very nice. The room had two double beds, an entire suite bathroom & shower (with plenty of hot water), a safe for valuables, and a T.V. A friendly member of staff whatsapped check in instructions prior to my arrival & was there to meet me to show me the instructions with the keys. There was complimentary filter coffee & biscuits the following morning.
