“Unique views with gracious hosts.”

Staying here was one of our holiday highlights. The magnificent views of the town from the rooftop (better than from El Pipillo), the delicious breakfasts that hosts Omar and Jacqui serve up there, the advice and assistance that Omar offers to fully enjoy his town, and too many other good things to list. Remember that Casa Rofo is not a slick luxury hotel but a hospitable family-run guesthouse and you’ll love it. Lastly, we felt super safe walking around Guanajuato, exploring the passageways and streets with total freedom. Whatever else is happening in Mexico has not affected this lovely town.

Perfect panaroma view. Room and bed are tidy and comfortable. The owner Omar is very nice and helpful. The breakfast prepared by Omar is mouthwatering! (Cozy hotel quality) Having breakfast under this stunning rooftop view are definitely no complaints. Highly recommend!

It is an authentic Mexican home with extraordinary views. The hosts are extremely kind and look after your every need. The breakfast is delicious.

Breakfast was really good, staff was super friendly. The bed was comfortable. The location was beautiful with the mountain view.

Very friendly host! I encountered road problem and stucked on the high way due to farmer protest, so I cannot arrive on the first night. When I arrive at noon, they kindly offer me a shuttle from center to their house and provide me with some food. The view on the rooftop is amazing, you can even skip the mirador because the view here is even as beautiful!

The view is better than Pipila Hill. Taxi and Uber will take you right to your doorstep. The host personally manages the property, making it comfortable. The breakfast is satisfactory.

The owner Omar is very helpful,good with suggestions.He makes you a nice breakfast up on the patio every morning where you get such an amazing view of the town.It was a short walk down to all the restaurants and historical sites.If you get a chance book a ticket at the theatre.

Comfortable rooms and an absolutely stunning view of the city. Omar was a fantastic host to the point where he found my prepaid reservation and realised I had unnecessarily paid for an extra child (I didn’t realise) and arranged for money refunded! The breakfasts were among the best food we have had in Mexico and being served while overlooking the incredible city is an experience of a lifetime.

I booked Casa Rofo because of the view and it is amazing. Omar and his wife are superb hosts and his breakfasts on the deck looking out over the view are also superb. Omar was great in offering suggestions and also in arranging transport. He even got up at 4am to ensure we got away ok!

The breakfast and the view are amazing. The host is so nice with excellent hospitality. He took care of all our request and needs and provided us wonderful tourist information. We highly recommend this hotel and we like the host so much!
