Without any doubt, Villa Ancora at Tenuta Lonciano is the best self-catering accommodation we have ever experienced. Antonella, our host was so kind and so welcoming. The villa is very well equipped, tastefully decorated and has its own pool and breathtaking views over the surrounding countryside. All the little extra touches including a fantastic coffee machine, olive oil and Prosecco made our stay so go we didn’t want to leave. We were so impressed that lots of big fluffy towels and toiletries were provided too. Thank you Antonella - you are an exceptional host and we’ll be back soon!

The hostess, Antonella, was really hospitable and accommodating. After our delayed flight, she met us at the property after 10pm without a hint of worry. Two mornings later, she brought us fresh pastries to check if everything was going well with our stay. This kind of service makes a stay extra memorable! Villa ANCORA is stocked with so many kitchen appliances and serving vessels it made our group meals so easy to whip up. The location really is a stone’s throw from Firenze, but you get the benefit of being in a quiet part of nature. Would definitely return to stay here.

Even though we weren’t lucky with the weather, we had an amazing time in Villa Ancora! The whole house is charming, warm and cozy. The pool, garden and fireplace were the highlights of our time there. We could really relax and calm down. The nature around the house is fantastic. Our dogs loved the area and enjoyed every minute in the garden. Antonella was an amazing host - Thank you for your hospitality, your tips and always being ready to answer my questions!

It was more than what I expected. Villa is such a beautiful house in the countryside nature. It is also close to Florence by car. We imagined having another holiday to relax by just booking here.

Pictures don't do it justice. This place was a dream. Absolutely beautiful, great location, quick jaunt to town of about 30 minutes to Central area. Lovely! Huge windows to admire the view, must be about 10' tall by 6' wide. Everything you need to relax and enjoy. We were all amazed and we've stayed in probably 50 different hotels. Loved it here.

This is a truly exceptional villa, with a myriad of facilities. Beautifully decorated, merging the old and the new and fresh so tastefully. Beautiful views over Florence, which twinkles at night. Different sitting out areas, and its own swimming pool. So many thoughtful and helpful touches, with everything you may need. Antonella the hostess was truly amazing - going above and beyond, and always with a friendly and cheerful smile. We cannot thank you enough for giving us such a superb holiday accommodation.

A beautiful Villa in a stunning location. The views over the city and mountains were pretty spectacular and the Villa was fully equipped with everything we needed. Lots of outdoor spaces with a beautiful swimming pool and gorgeous mountain biking and hiking trails on the doorstep. It was a little too cold to swim this time of the year but just sitting in the gardens watching the sunset was pure bliss. The villa had a good fireplace with plenty of wood and this made our evenings quite cozy. I would love to go back again next year in the summer months. Antonella was the perfect host.

Villa Ancora is tastefully furnished which is amazing, It combines modern equipment with ancient and initial look. Very comforable. The view is stunning!!

Everything about the property was just so dreamy, and the wonderful host Antonella just makes the place perfect. The property is large and the Villa is so pretty and comfortable. We also enjoyed the pool which welcomes you to exceptional views of Tuscan beauty. We stayed 5 nights, which just wasn’t enough. The kitchen is very modern and big enough with everything you need, the place also has 3 toilets/bathrooms with all the things you would need, even more. For us it was the best stay from Booking.com that has the kindest host. Kudos to the place and Antonella.

Our stay at the Villa was just amazing… the only thing you could hear were the birds. Absolutely loved it and we will definitely come again! The view was stunning! Beds were comfortable, bed linens were good quality and very clean. You can find all kinds of kitchen utensils. There were plenty of outdoor spots to sit, enjoy the views or have your meal. We highly recommend this lovely villa and we can’t wait to come back and see the sunsets again! Grazie mille Antonella, siamo stati benissimo!

The photos of this property on Booking don’t even start to describe what awaits you there! This is a corner of heaven like we have never seen before, although have travelled a lot. The view is amazing, you have a large yard to wander around and feel the peace and quiet, simply raise above the world and anything bothering you :) You will find not only a villa with exceptional design and good taste in all objects, but also any functionality you might think of, all carefully prepared for you in the utmost cleanliness and attention to detail. We have felt royal enjoying the view over Florence from the infinity pool and jacuzzi that you have in the gardens and loved every moment there. Also, the host is most friendly and helpful, we are grateful for meeting her and will visit again for sure ❤️
