Overview
This typical Andalusian hotel has elegant and comfortable, double rooms with air conditioning and individual decor. YIT Abentofail offers free WiFi access in most rooms. YIT Abentofail is in the historic centre of Guadix, just 100 metres from the cathedral. This is one of the oldest settlements in Spain, and half of the population lives in traditional cave houses. Guadix is an only hour’s drive from Granada city centre and the famous Alhambra. The Sierra Nevada Mountains are 30 km away. There is also good access to the beaches of Almeria. The hotel also has a helpful tour desk. YIT Abentofail has a central stone patio with a fountain, perfect for relaxing in. There is also a bar and a restaurant, serving typical local food.

“Disappointing.”
The room was clean and the bathroom well equipped. The bed was comfy. The breakfast was good - had everything you needed although there was no hot breakfast. Andrea, the host, was very helpful and friendly and solved all issues immediately.

Quiet boutique style hotel close to the town centre - excellent location. Excellent welcome from reception. Nice sized room. Very comfortable bed. Good bathroom (shower). Nice quiet areas on all floors to relax in with a book.

“Wonderful stay!”
We absolutely loved our two nights in the hotel . Central, we walked from the train station in about 30 minutes. The hotel is in the old city on a hill with a view to the mountains. Good heating as it was cold and wet. The square below has a fantastic restaurant El Refugio with a vegan and vegetarian menu, good prices for us and generous service. We were there on a Bank Holiday so little was open but the hotel was welcoming and the breakfast good . We highly recommend it and would seek out this brand in other cities.

“Great small hotel --beautiful spot if you are in Guadix.”
This hotel was in a great location, so close to the main square and walkable to all. We got great instructions on the free parking and we left our car there before heading to check in. This is recommended as the hotel is not accessible by car and in a small street. So, if possible park first (not far at all!) The front desk person was so so nice and friendly. She made us smile! Our room was cozy (appreciate as it was cold outside!) with a huge big and very comfortable bed. We walked in to the town --had a nice dinner. This was a one night stay and we loved it!

It's a very unusual and quaint hotel. The receptionist was lovely and really friendly. She spoke very good English. The evening meal and breakfast which we paid extra for was good quality. The shower was excellent.

“Very nice, would return”
Very nice hotel with a great onsite restaurant where we ate dinner. Free parking and close to the centre of the old town and the cathedral. Other restaurants available in the nearby plaza which was accessed by walking down/up several stairs. Not suitable for those with limited mobility

“Had a great couple of nights in this hotel in Guadix. The location was perfect.”
The lighting in the entrance to the bedroom was non existant, you had to turn on the bathroom lights. Breakfast was very good had everything that you would need. The staff in the hotel were always very helpful and spoke english which was a great help as my Spanish is still in its infancy and I should imagine quite painful to listen to lol The beds and pillows were very comfortabe .
