We had a wonderful stay at Casa Cueva Picoesquina. The home is beautifully buried into the hillside at the top of Guadix, typical of the older troglodyte houses in the area. It’s full of charm and character, with hewn rock walls and arched ceilings that make it feel truly unique. The house was spotless, very quiet, and came with a fully equipped kitchen which made our stay extra comfortable. It’s only about a 10-minute walk into the historic old town, so the location is great too. Overall, an excellent stay — highly recommended if you want something a bit different and full of character!

The cave is beautiful and spotlessly clean. It is well located, about 15 minutes on foot from the centre of Guadix and in the heart of the beautiful old part of the city, filled with cave houses. Miriam the host was friendly and helpful. My daughters and I loved our stay!

“Very interesting experience to stay in an apartement which is in fact a real cave!”
The host communicated immediately. She came to meet us when we arrived, explained all we needed to use the apartement. The apartement was very clean and comfortable. We liked the courtyard separated by a wall from the street.
