“Fabulous! Would highly recommend. Ideal for a family with young children.”
This is a wonderful little house with lots of character and the owner has provided everything you could need. It felt a little chilly inside when we arrived (February), but the owner had put some electric heaters there for us to use, as well as a pile of blankets, which kept us warm and cosy. There was a great shower and plenty of hot water, and lots of thoughtful details, such as shampoo and clothes washing liquid, if we were there longer and needed to do laundry. Outside there was a clothes line and room to put our car inside the gate, as well as a charcoal barbecue. It was a short walk to the main town. Alternatively, there is a tourist road train, which leaves just a couple of minutes walk away. It is in a superb, very peaceful location in the cave area of Guadix. Very close by is a mirador or viewing platform which allows extensive views in every direction. Just down the street there is a café which serves drinks and food and where we met someone who opened up the next door cave museum for us to see. Well worth the €3 entrance fee. We were given the history of the house, which was fascinating and gave an insight into life in days gone by in these homes. Extra details about the property - comfy beds, wardrobes with full length mirror and plenty of hanging space, fully equipped kitchen, TV. The property was spotlessly clean and renovated beautifully to a high standard.

This was unexpectedly a unique property. Totally unexpected to stay in a cave house. Very dark very quiet, place to park the car. Everything was fantastic.

This is a beautiful cave house in the picturesque part of Guadix. It had all the amenities we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen. We really enjoyed our short stay and would definitely recommend this place!
