Overview
This spectacular monastery in Guadalupe, Extremadura, offers atmospheric rooms and wonderful Gothic architecture. Combining a peaceful location with modern interiors, the air-conditioned rooms have a flat-screen satellite TV and a private bathroom. All rooms in the Hospederia del Real Monasterio have heating and free wired internet access. Some have views of the Sierra de Guadalupe Mountain Range. Most rooms have high ceilings, and some have original stone walls. The restaurant serves classic Extremaduran dishes, including ‘migas’, lamb, and roast kid. Gluten-free menus are available on prior request. The receptionist will be very happy to offer advice on local sights and walks. There is free on-site parking. The entrance to the parking lot is on Fray Eloy Uribe Street.

What an impressive place to stay off the beaten track. The monastery was definitely a one off experience. Rooms we fairly basic but clean and bed was comfortable.

“Great location next to the monastery which is an UNESCO world heritage site.”
This hotel is attached to the monastery and is decorated in good taste. There is a beautiful courtyard and separate garden within the hotel. Our room had a view looking out at the surrounding hills, helpful and friendly staff, parking is right outside.

Location, there's plenty to explore in the vicinity especially if you like to hike or bike. Rooms very clean. Stunning building exterior and interior. Food is excellent and reasonably priced, breakfast is buffet but good mix of what pleases Spaniards and foreigners.

Very beautiful, full of charm, and quite comfortable in an old fashion sort of way. The only negatives are 1) the access - difficult to find the right access and the parking nearest to the entrance, otherwise you have to climb LOTS of stairs with your luggage; and 2) the fact that this is Spain, and everything is closed until dinner time - there's not even a bar at the hotel to buy a coke or a bottle of water between lunch time and 8pm!! Part from that, you are right inside the Monastery, with cloisters and beautiful spaces, and it's really very very romantic. The restaurant is also very good. Breakfast not so much. Definitely a place to visit!

“Excellent”
The whole stay was excellent, the staff were both efficient and friendly. Parking for our 4 motorcycles was just outside the main entrance. The building is amazing and Guadalupe is very pleasant and interesting town with lots of places to eat and drink. The breakfast good with ample choice. It was the most expensive hotel on our trip but was worth every penny.

“It's a fantastic experience to sleep there”
The ambiance is wonderfull. To sleep in such a decorated convent is beautifull. You can sit in 2 beautifull patios. The breakfast is good. A lot of choice and we had dinner. It was good to with very nice service. The rooms are quiet and big also through the high ceiling
