Rafael was an amazing host- very attentive and new the village very well. Hostel was in a lovely quiet location. Staff very attentive and wanting to help with any questions we had. Would 100% recommend.

“Beautiful place & helpful host”
Beautiful location and lovely, spotlessly clean room. Our host Rafael was very attentive and helpful despite us not speaking any Spanish, and he organised a walking trip for us with a local guide called Francisco who showed us around waterfalls and the gorgeous countryside - a very nice day out. Food was tasty and freshly prepared. Gardens and surrounding countryside buzzing with life: we saw a hummingbird and many other colourful birds straight from the veranda! Recommended. “Friendly and relaxing !”
Rafael is extremely nice and welcoming, willing to help you with whatever you need. The location is great, with a beautiful view on the village of Guadalupe and the surroundings. A very relaxing place, and definitely the place where to stay if you're going to Guadalupe ! I can only recommend.

“El portal de Don Luis - the place to stay”
Rafael was the perfect host. He helped us with transportation, made sure we did the nicest hikes in the area and enjoyed the peace and quiet in Guadalupe. The rooms have been completely redone with a lot of attention to detail.

“Everything perfect”
Everything was perfect, from the big room to the hot shower, the cleanliness, the staff, the view, the localisation. I can only recommend this place !
