“Nice place and well designed”

The décor is very well executed and clearly reflects a significant amount of thought and investment. The view was excellent, and the atmosphere offered complete quiet, privacy, and a sense of exclusivity.

Hands down one of the most stunning locations and eco properties I have stayed in. The staff were wonderful and couldn’t do enough to help and accommodate my daughter’s birthday. Plenty of activities for those who would like to participate too.

The property was simply breathtaking! Authentic and beautiful. Being in the middle of nowhere has a special feeling. We enjoyed the walks, the activities organised by the hotel and even simply spending time in the hotel suite was therapeutic! I can’t wait to go back . Manrique, Denis and Felix contributed to make our staying unforgettable

“Cosy accommodation but quite noisy on a rainy night…”

A beautifully designed venue off the beaten track (12km of very rough roads to be precise). However the walk between the apartments and restaurant/bar area were very difficult to navigate as steep slopes and a confusing unlit path. This did mar an otherwise lovely accommodation.

“An excellent surprise and wished we were staying longer”

This hotel was booked as a fill-in between other locations. How surprised we were to find this incredible oasis in the middle of the jungle. Whilst the road to get there is a little rough, it is worth it in every way. Stunning suites in the jungle, fantastic reception staff and in the restaurant, Alexander and Enrique and others. The rock pool to swim in was incredible too. Can highly recommend this accommodation and wished we were staying longer.

“Absolutely gorgeous!”

We had an amazing stay. Everything was superlative, from staff, to decoration, nature, activities and cocktails! It was perfect for a romantic get away. Beware though, if you are light or noise sensitive (there is a river flowing by and no blackout curtains)

Great location - remote but that’s what makes it great. Sadly not enough staff on site especially in the bar and restaurant where the service was slow. The sauna wasn’t on either which was a shame as it would have taken time for it to heat up - which we didn’t have.

It was a unique experience having a room in the middle of the rain forest. The team was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

I rate Ecolirios Hotel Boutique & Villas highly only for its polite and helpful customer service staff, but when it comes to relaxation and overall accommodation quality, for which my husband and I came here, it is unfortunately very much disturbed by the fact that the suites are located right next to a rushing river. Those make it practically impossible to sleep, due to the constant, monotonous, and loud noise from the river. As a result, we had to shorten our stay to 2 nights - out of 11, which we booked here. With such a high intensity of the noise of the water - we managed to endure only 2 nights. I will add that in the suit in the season when we were there - October - it was very humid and this is also not pleasant - the bedding is damp. Apart from bird sounds, we did not encounter any other animals in the forest, which we managed to do later in other places in Costa Rica.

“An amazing unique place to stay in the middle of the rain forest”

This hotel is immersed in the middle of the rain forest. The villas are very high spec amd built to take full advantage of the forest views. The team are amazing, happy to help with any request and they really go the extra mile. Sergio was a star and a real asset to Ecolirios, although all staff were great. Amazing trips and spa treatments were organised for us which we thoroughly enjoyed. It’s a unique place to stay for sure.

The beautiful houses within the jungle are special, grounds are incredible and the service professional and kind. The eco and sustainable policy is a real example on how Costa Rica must develop further its Tourism.
