“Highly recommend”

Tony and Vicky are welcoming and inspiring hosts because of their generosity, both with their guests and the village community. Adjacent to the Rio and with a magnificent infrastructure, the location is perfect. Good music, the staff were adorable and the food delicious and affordable. Very nice hosts and staff and also really lovely dogs. Vicki prepares great meals for dinner and some days she and Toni play good electronic music at the bar, which is placed on a pirate ship. We loved the many great paintings and details like a canon on the ship. Besides, the kitchen was well equipped and clean and it was nice to have direct access to the river to cool down. We had a great time at the hostel, so that we extended our stay.

Great place to stay if you are looking for something off the beaten track. I initially booked for one night but ended up staying a week because the vibe was so good. Lots of partying but also super chill. Couldn't recommend more highly

“A haven”
A wonderful hippy haven, more similar to what you might find in SE Asia. The river is right at the hostel, with howler monkeys in the trees. It is a longish walk to a very secluded stretch of beach. And there's also a walk to an amazing waterfall.

This place is amazing, really good vibes. And the restaurant is a boat on the ground, a lot of style. Beautiful place to chill near the rivier (in dry season the water is really low).

property is huge, right next to the river and in a quiet a area of a small town. so many comfortable areas to sit, rest in hammocks etc. Vickie and Tony are super friendly and their staff and volunteers are as well. Was lovely to stay here and sit and chill out for a few days

“Amazing Little Peice Of Paradise”
Everything Was Fabulous From The Staff, Accomodation, Food (Please Try The Sushi), Surroundings....... Had The Most Incredible Time Staying Here For 5 Day's. The Dog's We're What Made Our Stay Having Them Around And Coming To Play In The River With Us Just Magical. What A Lovely Place ❤️❤️❤️

“community style hostel, not completely peaceful”
The cabaña is located in the very corner of the complex which makes it pretty quiet and private. The bed is comfortable and the balcony with the hammock is a big plus. The shared bathroom was cleaned every day. The hosts are very nice and considered (they're preparing for a festival so there's lots of construction in the garden happening plus rave music playing which they turned off immediately after mentioning we'd like some peace) The location is safe and good for different purposes.

We had an amazing stay at La Playita! Sergio, Tony and Angela were super friendly and helpful. They’ve build sick pirate ship at the property where you can relax and have a beer of two. You can also reach the village nearby within 10 min walking.

The location must be pretty good, but we unfortunately stayed there at a time where there was lots of construction works going on around the area which considerably lessened both the visual and sonor experience. The shared bathroom is well build and comfy to use.
