“Great Boho Vibe”

We loved the little beach cabins and that you don't need shoes at all, nowhere. We had a great night sleep on a comfy bed with lovely lightning. There was security all night long, so nothing to worry about at no times. All places in the facility where great and nice to hang out, food was delicious. Since everyone eats there, the kitchen can get busy at times. Free water refill all day. Plenty of very clean shared bathroom facilities. Interesting evening activities to join in. The beach is rough but wild'n'pretty. Alternatively take a dip in the lovely pool.

“Beautiful location, friendly staff and lovely quiet chill get away”

We had a great time here! The location is right on the beach and rooms are surrounded by palm trees and greenery. We stayed in a beach cabin it had a mosi net and a powerful fan. I liked the food and my favourite dish was the Peruvian ceviche! The pool was lovely too set back from the beach. We did a quiz in the evening and most people got involved and played card games after. It’s a quiet place and we didn’t leave to explore anything near by but was perfect for what we wanted. Chill time by the beach and pool. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful along with the bar staff. Thank you we really enjoyed our stay!

The property is lovely and the pool area is amazing. Our cabin room was great and the shared bathroom facilities are nice and clean. The volunteers (shout out antoine) were friendly and good at organising nice activities. The work area is good with really fast WiFi.

“The most understanding hostel in Tayrona paradise”

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bohemia Beach Tayrona—it truly felt like a little slice of paradise tucked away in the jungle by the sea. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcome; they were incredibly kind, warm, and went out of their way to help with everything, from recommending the best hikes into Tayrona Park to just sharing a laugh over drinks at the bar. A huge shoutout to the team (especially the volunteers and reception folks)—they bring such a genuine, family-like vibe that turns strangers into friends quickly. The location is pure magic: direct access to a stunning private beach, surrounded by lush greenery, the constant sound of waves, and wildlife all around. It's a bit remote, which isn't for everyone, but for me, that isolation was exactly what I needed—no distractions, just deep relaxation by the pool or swaying in a hammock. The ocean currents can be strong at times, so I mostly swam in the calmer spots or the lovely pool, but the views made every moment worthwhile. My cabin was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully set up with mosquito nets, fans, and everything needed to stay comfortable in the tropical humidity. No hot water? In that heat, the refreshing cool showers were actually a blessing after a day of exploring. Everything felt well-maintained, with no major disruptions from any ongoing work that I noticed. The food at the restaurant was fresh and delicious—perfect after a long day—and while prices are a bit higher due to the remote spot (everything has to be brought in), I found them fair for the quality and convenience. No need to trek out for basics, and the bar cocktails were spot-on for sunset unwinding with fellow travelers. One moment that really stood out was when I had a personal issue that caused me to need a late checkout.

“A must stay near Tayrona Park”

The property was amazing. The beach hut we stayed in was well equipped, large and decorated so well. The rest of the property felt practically brand new. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We only wish we could have stayed here longer. It is so peaceful and relaxing.

“Beautiful beach resort”

The staff are friendly & helpful. It was on the beach with beautiful facilities. It was clean and tidy. The food was great. The cabañas were really lovely & thoughtfully designed with plenty of space and all mod cons. The shared bathrooms were really nice. There were water fountains, the pool looks great & is a nice size with outdoor showers. There are hammocks and beds on the beach. In the evenings they light a bonfire. It’s very peaceful. They stored our bags for a few days for free. It’s a great resort and great value.

The common facilities are nice and the location is great. The staff is also friendly.

I absolutely loved the location directly at the private beach. The hostel has everything you need: Places to work, a nice restaurant, hammocks and sun loungers on the beach, a swimming pool, yoga mats,.... I absolutely loved being so connected to nature

“Relaxing atmosphere with amazing facilities and staff”

All in all just an incredible hostel - perfect for relaxing! Loved falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle and waking up to the sound of the ocean. All the staff and volunteers were amazingly friendly! Especially Melissa always greeted me with such a happy smile each morning when coming back from my morning run and was super helpful with any inquiries I had! Thanks for an amazing stay!
