To Booking.com Customer Service Team, I am writing to formally REJECT the offer of 46.23 MYR Travel Credits regarding my reservation 5978261890. This offer is unacceptable as it does not address the serious safety violation I experienced. I demand a FULL REFUND of the total accommodation fee for the following reasons: Immediate Security Threat: Upon arrival at Ammar Homestay Gua Musang, a car with three strangers (2 men, 1 woman) confronted us, demanding to enter the premises to retrieve items. This is a safety issue that should have been managed by the host before my check-in. Host's Failure of Duty: Instead of assisting us, the host instructed me—a paying guest—to handle these unknown individuals and hand over items myself. This put me at significant physical and legal risk (as I could not verify if the items were legal substances). Admission of Fault: The host has already acknowledged their error by refunding my RM50 security deposit privately. This proves that the stay was terminated due to their inability to provide a safe environment. Evidence Provided: I have attached the WhatsApp conversation proving the host’s negligence and the security threat we faced. I do not accept "Travel Credits" for a situation where my personal safety was compromised. I expect a full refund to my original payment method immediately. Otherwise, I will escalate this complaint to the Malaysian Police and the Ministry of Tourism (MOTAC).
