Overview
The Arc-en-ciel hotel in traditional Chalet style is a hotel situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of Gstaad, next to the Eggli cable car station, close to the car-free centre. During the summer months the outdoor swimming pool is a great place to relax while your children have fun on the playground, in the games rooms, or on the electric car track. Guests can visit the inviting private spa area, with a sauna, a steam bath and a tub for 2-4 people, which should be booked on the day of use. The exclusive use of the spa area is possible for a surcharge. A fitness corner, massages and beauty treatments are available on request and subject to availability. At Hotel Arc en Ciel, you can choose between the charming Pizzeria with its wood-fired oven and the fine La Sarine restaurant featuring a winter garden and a sunny terrace. In the hotel lobby you can find a lounge with a fireplace. A large parking lot is available for free and the garage is accessible at an additional cost. Guests can easily access the skiing and hiking trails in the area or go mountain biking. Free bicycles are available.

I was delighted that the hotel staff helped me to celebrate my wife’s birthday - they hung a sign on the wall and left a handwritten card and even a gift of local cookies. All v kind & thoughtful.

“Not an 9 rating !”
It was a nice hotel. I arrived there knowing it’s next to the ski lifts but the ski-lift closed for end of period a week earlier. It wasn’t written on the booking. So I thought I could enjoy the spa . It was also closed for renovation. Then I thought of going to the gym. It was also closed for renovation. All these renovations were not mentioned in booking. In general the experience was not as expected.

Τhe hotel is very comfortable and beautifully combines a traditional chalet style with a modern interior. Our room was very clean and had a warm, cozy chalet atmosphere. The restaurant is very well presented and the food was delicious. Breakfast offered a large variety of fresh products, which was a great way to start the day. The hotel is also located right next to the ski lift, which is extremely convenient, especially for those planning to ski. There is convenient outdoor parking available directly in front of the hotel, making it ideal for travelers with a car. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The hotel is not located directly in the city center. However, guests receive a free transport card for the local bus and the bus stop is only a 2-minute walk from the hotel. From there, it takes about 7 minutes to reach the center of Gstaad. Overall, a lovely place to stay in Gstaad that we would happily recommend.

Clean and spacious rooms with a unique interior design. The huge terrace was a great bonus and a perfect place to relax. The partnership with a nearby ski shop was very convenient and made everything easy to organize. The location is excellent, about 10 minutes to the city, with shops, restaurants, and everything else within walking distance. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. Overall, a very pleasant stay.
