Overview
Enjoying a quiet and slightly elevated position on the edge of Saanen, the 2014 newly-built Youth Hostel offers healthy local cuisine and free WiFi. At the Youth Hostel Saanen you can choose between room with private or shared bathrooms or a bed in a dormitory with bathrooms located on the corridor. Kids can have fun on the playground and in the playroom. There are also a ping-pong table and a football table. Weekly ski passes are available on site. The Saanen Train Station is a 10-minute walk away. Free parking is available at the train station and surcharge parking is available on site, upon reservation.

“Great location , clean place , you will not even feel like you are in a hostel”
The breakfast was great, so many variety of dishes to choose from, be it cereal, bread, yorghurt, juice and even coffees

“To sum up, the staff provides good service, good breakfast options, but no value for money for a private room.”
The location is good, but the private room we had booked was not having a good room aesthetic. The colour of the room, no ventilation. We keep the window open and so many bugs and insects come flying in. It’s a n issue. I am not aware of the shared room as ours was a private one.

“Great place to stay”
Great size rooms and facilities and the available dinner (small fee) was very yummy Gstaad card and the use of the railway and buses for free was a bonus too Great location Ski room (for drying) was great also as we got very wet on the 1st day

It was a very nice hostel, very similar to the hostel in Interlarken where I have stayed on many occasions. I was on a self supported cycle tour and having a secure room to store my cycle was important to me. It was noted that the room also had pumps available which was appreciated.

“Pleasent”
Very clean.Absolutely lovely staff,the only downfall is their was too many flies in the dinner room ,whenever you sit there all flies come to you.they shoukd put anti fly electric device
