“Friendly and welcoming with exceptional food and service.”

The staff are warm and welcoming with great service. The food here is exceptional. We traveled with our dogs who were also welcomed everywhere. The hotel is situated up a bit of a hill from the centre, but we walked it each day without too much puffing. If you don’t fancy this the hotel offer a free transfer for you up until 5.30pm. Our room was spotlessly clean with a super comfortable bed and squishy pillows. Would highly recommend the Grand Chalet if visiting Gstaad.

Gorgeous location and surroundings with complimentary shuttle to / from the station by the promonade. Room was spacious and cozy. Lovely amenities. The staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was amazing, and the views were incredible. Lovely hotel.

Stunning location with amazing views. Set a little on the edge of town but a useful free shuttle service. The room and balcony were very spacious and everything felt new. Staff were very kind and helpful and we enjoyed a lovely dinner in the restaurant. Wonderful stay!

Great location, views over Gstaad and the valley are fabulous. The whole team are fabulous, friendly and can’t do enough to make you feel welcome and well looked after. Hotel, restaurant and room were spotlessly clean.

Everything was beyond our expectations! The hotel is set in such a beautiful, picturesque spot. Our room was super cozy and felt just like home. It had everything we needed, the bathroom was brand new, and the whole place was really clean and inviting. The breakfasts were absolutely lovely. A big thank you to every single staff member for their kindness, professionalism, and amazing service. And a special shoutout for the room upgrade — we really appreciated it! We would be so happy to come back here again.

I was in one of the refurbished room and it was spacious and well equipped. I had dinner in the restaurant and the fare was very good though not cheap. The staff were all very nice. The free parking was good and adequate as well as being necessary as the hotel is on a steep hill. My one suggestion is that air conditioning be considered to cool the rooms in the summer.

“Le Grand Chalet is Heaven”

Le Grand Chalet is a great place that we return to regularly. The atmosphere in the hotel exudes tranquility and is located in a beautiful, easily accessible location higher up in Gstaad. The service is attentive, friendly and professional. The vast majority of the employees have been a permanent team for years and that means something. This time we had a renovated room at the back with a beautiful unobstructed view of Gruben. The underground large garage can be reached internally by elevator; super practical. We did miss a real hotel lobby. The lobby as shown in the photo is unfortunately not the reality. The seating area that serves this purpose is limited, does not embrace and the lighting is too bright. Apart from that, this space is also used to place extra tables to seat more people for dinner. In conclusion, a very nice, authentic and very well-maintained hotel that we would like to return to. Le Grand Chalet is highly recommended!
