Another one of the best stays during our road trip across Iceland. This is well located and nicely decorated guesthouse with very nice facilities, quality toiletries, fitments and wonderful linen. The laundry facilities were very helpful after our 10 day trip. There are 2 bathrooms and 2 showers being shared by three rooms. That's to be kept in mind. Thankfully we had all rooms to our group so it was fine for us. The common kitchen was very well equipped and dining/TV room was useful for our cooking & dining. The common living room was spacious and had a lovely view of the Kirkjufell. This guesthouse is a benchmark for owners of other places, we stayed at and rated lower. Happy to recommend to other travellers.

Everything was just perfect. They had given toiletries which was not available in any hostel guesthouse.

The kitchen is fully equipped, even more than my own house! It has everything you can imagine, and even things you haven't thought of! There's more than one washing machine and dryer, multiple toilets and two bathrooms, so you don't have to worry about sharing with others. The bathrooms are on the ground floor, so you don't have to worry about disturbing other guests when you shower late at night. The interior design is very tasteful; it's simply everyone's dream house!

“Perfect location”

Perfect location and a wonderful house. From the living room window, we could watch the Northern Lights right from the armchair — truly magical! The kitchen was excellent, and the house had two showers and two toilets, making it very convenient. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. We stayed alone, but the house is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate more guests. Everything about our stay was perfect.

The house is really amazing and neat, and there is a good ratio of bathrooms (2) for the amount of rooms (3) / guests so it's not crowded.

House located in a quiet area, opposite Kirkjufell (the remarkable place of the area), with a well-equipped kitchen and clean bedrooms and bathrooms. The living room has a very pleasant view to observe this mountain out in the ocean. Thank you Justine & Paul

“Wonderful guesthouse”

I spent only one night at this guesthouse, but I had a really great time. The position is excellent in the middle of the town with a wide space where to park the car. The room was clean, cozy and had plenty of space; the same for the living room where you can just sit on the sofa or the armchair and enjoy the view. There are three bathrooms, two of them with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped. Additionally, it was very easy to communicate with the host, who promptly gave instructions about the check-in. I highly recommend this place if you're travelling around Snæfellsnes.

“Felt like being at home. A great house with accommodation for 3 groups upstairs”

We loved this property downstairs felt like home with plenty of space. We were there with one other family and really enjoyed interacting with them. The view, kitchen and washing machines were excellent. Check in was efficient and communication with the hosts was easy.
