Everything about this little house is amazing. The beautiful garden, the traditional look and the peace you get when you stay here. The cottage is equipped with everything you need for a long and comfortable stay. It is a real piece of heaven. The host is very thoughtful and such a kind person.

Lela was absolutely lovely, she greeted us with such warmth upon our arrival, and made us feel right at home in her beautiful property. Everything she did for us during our stay was so sweet and thoughtful. We had come in quite late and forgot to eat before all the restaurants were closed, we mentioned this to her and she so lovingly made us a beautiful arrangement of food. Which truly saved us, and appreciated so so much. She made us feel very cared for even though our stay was short. The house itself is so beautiful and the property is quite big and scenic. All of the amenities within the house were amazing and clean ! Overall I could not recommend a place to stay more than this. From the warmth Lela provides to the beautiful interior of the house and comfortable bed and very usable kitchen this is perfect for your next stay in Croatia.

The host was very helpful and generous. The property was charming and spotlessly clean. The garden was an oasis to come back to after a hot day. There was an outdoor shower powered by solar. it was so relaxing. The host left us some lovely fruit and useful items in the fridge.

Lela is a real host and this cozy home has all you need for a long and confortable stay: SILENCE, mosquitoes nets at the windows (so you can leave them open at night to get the breeze in), a huge amount of kitchen utensils, appliances, garden furniture, snacks in the fridge, etc. All interiors are curated down to the smallest detail and there's history, knowledge and care behind them. So, you immediately feel you can actually LIVE the house, for real. A very pleasant and peaceful stay, recommended for long stays.

Cosy, quiet and genuine. Very clean and cool small details everywhere. Hostess Leila was very helpful and super nice. So cosy we dropped all evening plans (Dubrovnik) and stayed in the garden instead all evening.

Everything was meticulously clean and well-cared-for, reflecting the host’s attention to detail. Speaking of the host, her warmth and genuine hospitality made our stay truly special. She was always available with helpful advice and ensured we had everything we needed. It’s a place where you can fully relax and enjoy the simple pleasures. (And it's perfectly situated for easy access to the airport.) Highly recommended.

Lela was very nice and helped us to find the best beach, late check in, how to park in dubrovnik. The house is very nice and comfortable especially if you are a couple. It is 20-30 min far from dubrovnik but but very quite and allow you to visit very nice beaches

The cottage was lovely, at peaceful location near the airport. It had all amenities one could wish for and the host was very lovely and helpful.

It's a very cute stone house . The owner welcomed us and met in person to hand over the keys and show us around. There were complimentary drinks in the fridge and everything made us feel welcome!

“Exceptional”

What a pity we only stayed for one night and spend less than 12 hours in the lovely and wonderful old house. We definitely have to go back and stay relax in the blissful garden. Lela is a very nice host which welcomed us with open arms. Although we had no breakfast in our stay she prepared the fridge with loads of staff. We should definitely visit again this lovely house.

We spent a great 2 nights stay at Lela's little House. The House is wonderdul and Lela welcomes you so nicely with beer, water and jam in the fridge. She also gives you a lot of great tips about restaurants and visits around the house. We would have stayed more!!! Thanks for everything!

This is a beautiful little property with a lovely garden in. quiet area . great value for money . it was perfect for us after returning from Montenegro as it close to the border and close to Dubrovnik airport. There are quality restaurants close by and Cavtat is a short drive

We traveled with two small children, the lovely garden and quiet road to play in was fantastic. Lela (the best host) thinks of everything! Not to mention so many treats in the kitchen on arrival. Even if there isn’t a washing machine, she has two plastic bowls that makes washing clothes by hand easy. We were lucky that the cherries in the garden was ripe, and Lela said we could enjoy it. Also nicest smelling bedding and towels (plenty) so far on our month long holiday. Quick drive to the lovely Pasjaca beach or Molunat. We only met Lela once, but she has made a lasting impression on us.

“A delightful place to stay”

We have just spent a week in this gorgeous place. The house is full of character and very comfortable. Lela, the owner, has thought of everything that you might need during a stay. The location is fantastic, only a short drive from Dubrovnik Airport but you feel like you have been transported away from the busy world. The garden is lovely and private, a great place to sit and relax. It is a great location for a base to visit all the stunning locations in the region and Gruda is small but friendly with a choice of bars and restaurants and very friendly people. Lela is the best host you will ever find, so friendly, kind and generous. She provided us with chilled beers and breakfast provisions the night we arrived and cheered us up with delicious homemade pancakes on a particularly rainy day (such a thoughtful lady). We are already talking about a return visit. Thank you Lela!

“Absolutely great!”

This reinvented traditional very old house was above perfection for our family. Very tidy, very confortable, full of memories but also brought to nowadays standards without damaging its authenticy. It has a pretty large living room with kitchen facilities with a large and confortable sofa, a very confortable bedroom (which obviously includes the bed), everything is so nice and tidy. It also has a little garden in which you can catch the first sunshine in the morning drinking your coffe with an excellent view over the valley or you can rest in the afternoon hiding from sun heat under the live pergola in the front of the house. You can also cook something in the grill outside (which we didn't due the lack of time), use the solar shower in the garden or just cool down after the sunset, have a drink and relax listening to some radio station (at the little radio we took outside) that plays nice old&new good music without too many commercials. This little house has some kind of magic in it and its garden, we strongly recommend it for families. The host is more than nice and acts like the perfect local guide. She welcomed us with many local goodies in the fridge and advised us for our visit in Dubrovnik, choosing the most beautiful beaches in the area and also many recommendations for restaurants and other things in the area. She also brought us a nice present with local products on our leaving day. Probably the best accommodation in the area, we will come back for sure!
