The Location is perfect for accessing Yosemite park and the various main ares to visit. It’s close to the old town of Groveland, which has several eating options and bars. In particular the breakfasts at Yosemite Rose were varied and fantastic - we were set up for the day and needn’t eat again until supper!

what a lovely place! the house looks so good that will make you feel at home as soon as you get there. and the lady was just so lovely and kind beautiful special mention also to breakfast, they give you a “to go” breakfast if you decide to go out before the normal breakfast time

“Absolutely perfect”

A very warm and welcoming family home. Every room tells stories. Katherine is so lovely and was always so nice to us, was always up for a chat and gave us tips on what to do before 4pm when we didn't get a reservation for the Yosemite NP or told us about where to eat luch/dinner. At night you can see many stars, the milkyway and even planets! The breakfast we've had was outrageous. We absolutely loved every bit of our stay and wished we could've stayed much longer.

The whole experience was awesome. Don and Kathryn are great hosts and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. Rachel cooked us breakfast, and they have to be the best pancakes I've ever eaten.

We absolutely loved staying at Yosemite Rose. We stayed at the cottage for 3 nights which has a bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen downstairs and an additional bedroom with an ensuite upstairs with a separate entrance. We are a family of 3 so didn’t end up using upstairs and were very comfortable in the charming lower level of the cottage. The property is run by a wonderful couple who we had the pleasure of spending a bit of time with in the main house that has 7 additional bedrooms. If we do return we will stay in the main house next time that includes an amazing gourmet breakfast. The cottage has its own kitchen hence breakfast not provided. The property is located on a large piece of land with amazing grounds. A beautiful property, wonderfully designed and you can tell a lot of heart and soul has gone into the design of the property. Every detail in the decor is charming and has a wonderful story. To top it off, they also have 4 dogs, 4 horses and over 120 acres of land. Location of the property is about 25 minutes away from the Yosemite National Park gate and very close to the Groveland Center where there are multiple restaurants, supermarkets etc.

Rooms are fantastic, hospitality is also fabulous, this place is not just bed & breakfast but also a feelings made by the owner for the guests , real meaning of home far from home . RECOMMENDATIONS TO STAY FOR 1 FULL DAY , DO NOT KEEP ANY SIGHTSEEING FOR 1 DAY .
