Excellent breakfast. Underground parking garage, but can get crowded and not always SUV-proof to park between the lines or columns. Room has minibar, good cooling and noiseless airconditioning. Sound proof double glass door to balcony. The beach is right across the street and they offer a private beach with umbrella, seats included in the price. Restaurants all over the beach strip, mainly fish dishes served.

“Lovely, relaxing stay enhanced by Donatella on reception.”
Perfect, relaxing end to a 6 week trip. Clean, comfortable hotel with lovely pool, private beach and nearby seafront restaurant. What really made the experience so good as a solo traveller was Donatella on reception. She was friendly, knowledgeable, interesting and so, so efficient.

Very recent property ....and very nice staff. Haven't slept that good in a while. AC functions perfectly and breakfast not to beat.

I rate this hotel experience as 5 star!! The accommodations are very clean, visually appealing and well maintained. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful in all matters. I cannot speak highly enough of the very lovely Hotel Velia. The breakfast buffet was delicious offering all types of foods, eggs, bacon, sausage, all the cereals, fresh fruits, meat, cheeses, fresh breads/rolls, freshly made coffee's, etc. A lovely repast every morning. I highly recommend the Hotel Velia as the "go to" hotel in Grottammare.

“Great value, perfect and convenient location, delicious breakfast, very clean and a great staff.”
The hotel was extremely clean, well maintained and organized. The staff were very friendly and helpful and always eager to help with restaurant suggestions or any other information needed to make the stay complete. The breakfast is outstanding. A beautiful buffet, scambled eggs, bacon, sausage, all cooked fresh. The breads, pastries and cakes fresh. All types of cereals, fresh fruit, meats and cheeses. Probably one of the best breakfast buffets. A great value for the cost, perfect location, private parking. I highly recommend the Hotel Velia!!

“Best Breakfast in Abruzzo!”
Super clean and modern room, with a nice view of the sea. Plenty of very friendly staff around to help , and always cleaning the place in public areas was nice to see. The BEST breakfast you’ll find in Abruzzo (maybe Italy ; )) We will definitely be staying again.
