Maurizio was the highlight of the property, such a wonderful host and so attentive. Breakfast was lovely, and gluten free was provided on request which was a wonderful touch. The area around the property and the property itself was so peaceful, much needed after 3 busy days in Rome.

We spent 4 nights at the property. Mauricio the owner is amazing - reluctant to help and advise. The room was big, and the panorama from the porch is fantastic. the location is good with multiple resturants within 15 min drive.

Our stay at Tenuta Cusmana was absolutely wonderful. The property is spectacular – beautifully maintained and set in a tranquil location just outside of Rome, it feels like a true escape from the city. What really made the experience extra special, was Maurizio. He was such a lovely host, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind, and his warmth made us feel right at home. It’s clear how much care and heart he puts into looking after both the property and his guests.

Maurizio is a very warm and welcoming host, very forthcoming and helpful to give recommendations as what to see or where to eat during your stay. The house and it’s surroundings are all you can wish for, beautiful vistas and tranquil inspite of its proximity to Rome. The lovely breakfast offers a variety including egg dishes of your choice to fresh fruit and yougurt. Thank you Maurizio for having us staying in your lovely house!

Maurizio couldn’t do enough for us, we had a very friendly, warm welcome, he showed us around and gave us details on places to visit and eat in the local area. Pool area had a lovely vista and was a good temperature to swim in. Rooms and hotel in general was very clean.

The facilities are quite nice and the location i’s fantastic. Maurizio is a very attentive host who goes a long way to ensure that his guest are doing well. We will be back

Holidays in Tenuta Cusmano became the embodiment of our Italian dream ❤️🇮🇹. We express our deep gratitude to Maurizio, as well as to his brother and father for a wonderful vacation on the territory of the estate! We were surrounded by care and love, which manifested itself not only in comfort, cleanliness, and magnificent breakfasts, but also in sincere conversations and endless help from Maurizio🤗. This is truly a unique place with the most picturesque landscapes and sunsets that take your breath away, birds singing and the aromas of flowers won our heart! Here we found a wonderful rest by the pool and overnight in a comfortable, cool and entourage room, our refrigerator was always replenished with cool water, our bed and room shone with cleanliness every day. There was not a single place in our life where I didn’t want to leave so much, because it became part of our soul! Near the estate there is a wonderful town of Grottaferrata, which we visited for lunch - it took only 10-15 minutes of walking. Grottaferrat has delicious and diverse restaurants, but nothing compares to the chic croissants that Maurizio cooks for breakfast😁 We really dream of coming back here, thank you thank you!🙏🏼

“A relaxing stay at beautiful place with a wonderful host.”

The best part of tenuto cusmano, is without a doubt Maurizio himself. He is such an incredibly friendly person that makes a lot of effort to make sure you have the best holiday. It really didn’t feel like just a hotel, it was like being welcomed into someones home. He also had great recommendations on what to do around and which restaurants to go too. It is an incredibly clean hotel, every day the room was cleaned and it all looked brand new and smelled wonderful. Next to that the breakfast is filling and tasty. You can get some eggs, crepes, fresh fruit, some bread, cheese, meats etc. I was never hungry after the breakfast. The views as you arrive at the hotel are breathtaking and the pool is very well maintained as well. There are more than enough beds and places in the shade. I know my wife and I will definitely visit tenuto cusmano again.

Tucked away in the heart of Italy, this charming family-run hotel with its warm, timeless atmosphere and personal touch in every detail. Maurizio made us feel extremely welcome and provided us with detailed maps and information about the area. The stunning views from our terrace were truly unforgettable and made our stay both relaxing and memorable. A true gem for those seeking authenticity and tranquility.

“Lovely location and beautiful grounds”

The property is well located for travel into Rome for people who are fit and healthy as there is long walk from the trains at Rome Termini to the Metro. Traffic from Grotto Ferrata to Frascati can be heavy so you need to leave plenty of time to get there. Trains run once an hour. The property itself has beautiful grounds and swimming pool but the interior itself is tired and outdated. It is a little sad and probably could do with a major update and refurbishment. Maurizio is absolutely charming and cannot do enough to assist with information about local places to visit sight seeing etc. We found the bed pillows etc too soft and would have liked a firmer mattress and better quality sheet. However Rome accommodation during the Conclave was extremely expensive and this was similarly priced to most other 4 star accommodation. Breakfast is adequate but there's no lounge bar or restaurant on site so you will need to go out for dinner every night.

The villa and the views were amazing!!! It was so relaxing to have a glass of wine on the terrace and watch the sunset. The breakfast was so delicios! Maurizio is a super host! He gave us the best recommendations for the restaurants and places to visit in the area.
