The ambiance, like stepping into another world of long ago … the staff were so helpful and Paul - a member of the family who owns the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful. The restaurant cuisine choice was excellent and again the amazing knowledgeable staff of great wines. The bedlinen was 100% linen and the bed with topper … so comfortable the huge mosaic circular Bath / rain shower was fantastic and towels were excellent quality. We loved it there and the town was charming with many boutiques and historic features along with great restaurants too. Parking was just adjacent for a small fee.

We absolutely loved Locanda della Spuntino. A perfect place for an overnight in or out of Rome airport but also for an extended stay. Everything was exquisite and the pure linen embossed bed sheets were amazing. Pure linen napkins at breakfast were also a nice touch. It’s next door to a taverna which is also pretty amazing. We LOVED our stay but could so easily have stayed longer. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

I really enjoyed my stay in these apartments! Great location, spotless cleanliness, comfortable beds, and a stylish interior. Everything is well thought out, making the stay as comfortable as possible. The host was very attentive and always available. I will definitely come back!

Beautiful hotel with much attention to detail. Extra nice linen sheets. Nice Bvlgari toiletries and extra nice touch with robe and bath slippers. Bathtub ring needs a little attention in cleaning, but otherwise EVERYTHING was great. Nice breakfast served in front of fire place in the lobby and super location close to city center.

My husband and I stayed in Locanda dello Spuntino for 3 nights while traveling around Castelli Romani . It is very nice, family run , authentic hotel located in the residential area of Grottaferrata. We had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the park. Even though the room was facing the street, the shutters provided good isolation and it was very quiet. The room is a good size for Italy with wooden beams and hardwood floors. Large bathroom with beautiful mosaic shower. I have to mention the bedding which is luxurious. Crisp linen sheets, fluffy pillows, truly wonderful. It was a great place to relax after wandering around the area. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Cappuccino, fresh orange juice , pastries , local ham and cheeses, eggs prepared to order in a hotel restaurant that serves great pastas and other authentic Roman specialities in the evening. We would love to stay in this hotel again.

We loved our stay at Locanda dello Spuntino this week. The restaurant has an incredible interior, straight out of a Caravaggio painting and the staff were all so lovely and helpful. It’s a non touristy town so it feels very genuine and it’s great to be in the centre and able to walk everywhere. Only 20 mins from Ciampino airport. It was very rainy when we were there so we only saw the amazing castle as we left. We’ll definitely be back.
