I absolutely love this place. They have their own farm where they produce delicious fruits and vegetables which you can eat during dinner and breakfast. The meals are really tasty and the staff is very helpful and friendly. For a stay in Grootfontein, this is the place to be!

Staff were very kind and helpful to the best of their abilities. I know the power at the lodge was a problem and they did tell me about it. That's why the score is still high.

We loved the remote unique location! The hosts are incredibly nice and we were surprised by a home cooked meal and lovely local wines.

We had a wonderful stay at this Farm. The Owner was very welcoming and was offering us an amazing dinner even on very short notice. The included breakfast was fresh and delicious with some good coffee! The dinning room was beautiful and our rooms looked brand new. Huge and comfy beds, very spacious and pretty tiled bathroom and shower. This farm is an amazing deal for a stopover in Groutfontein. We would come back any time!

Good location but a poor place to stay. The manager is very rude and dismissive. False advertising, there is no pool. The "free" breakfast is actually charged.

The owner Ulf is very rude. The property is misrepresented on photos and descriptions. The rooms need maintenance. There are many large and agressive dogs.

A laid back environment and engagemt with the owners. The owners freely shared their experiences. The food was exceptional. The restaurant provided an ambient environment for the family to enjoy meals. The walk around the farm and interaction with the dogs - Mark's, Bella and The geneal. The cool shade and quiet in the afternoon was excellent for reading. My family gave me credit for the most welcoming guest house on our road trip! We highly recommend this place.
