The location was outstanding, the view from the room was great. The room was nice and clean.

“Worst hotel experience”

We were verbally agressed by the guests next door who banged on our door because my son took a shower at 10.30pm. They treated us like the worst people for that. It was worst hotel experience we had. It may not be the hotel’s fault but the walls may be too thin and the owner does not seem to have notify these guests that it was very wrong to do things like that, even if i enjoigned him to do so the very morning after. I am not ok to pay for that !

Simple and very clean, very friendly check-in. We had a small bedroom with a small shared bathroom. For fishermen a great spot because you have a big kitchen being shared with some others. Very good breakfast.

Absolutely beautiful location next to a river. The onsite restaurant offered tasty food and good wine. Staff throughout were lovely. Room definitely had a fabulous view, was wonderfully quiet and parking was easy.

Really nice staff. Cosy houses with comfortable beds. Train is not loud. Great breakfast with salmon, eggs, juice, warm bred, etc.

Great location, so beautiful to wake up next to the river. Beds are comfortable. We had a two sleepover on our way from Oslo to Arctic circle.The food in the restaurant was delicious and breakfast as well. My husband enjoyed the salmon. I don’t eat meat and fish but they offered me a mushroom soup, baked potatoes and some salad. 😋

“A slightly broken hotel in extremely beautiful surroundings”

Very pleasant staff and breathtaking surroundings. Nice breakfast. The room had a balcony with a splendid view to the mountain behind and the big, beautiful river. The hotel was very conveniently placed on our route. They also had an EV charger on site, which was very practical.

“Eco friendly lodges, friendly staff”

I booked a hotel not far from this, but found it had been shut for a few years. Namsentunet were able to take my booking at very short notice or I was sleeping in the car that night, this area was the coldest I saw on my trip at -9c, I expected colder for February. The owners were chatty, as Nords go. Its a hunting lodge and many of the local catches are stuffed in the restaurant as is quite the fashion in the region, and this gave me my only chance to see a lynx.

At least got 4 clean beds. Our fail was that we came too late, and it was just too late to look out for another place.
