“BBQ , great.”
Friendly, easy, peaceful, good value. Able to BBQ and could fish in season. Easy access to garage and supermarket. If BBQ bring your own wood etc.

A nice cabin with a small kitchen. It has a big compound where we can park our car in front of the cabin. The shared toilet was huge and clean. The view from the cabin was fantastic

“Promising in excellent scenery”
New staff, new energy in rehabilitating this nice little camping site near the great Namsen river. Quiet, clean, and beautiful surroundings. The facilities are quite worn down, but efforts are being made to repairing the buildings. Very friendly and attentive staff. I hope they succeed.

The owner was super welcoming and friendly, which was perfect after a slightly stressfull journey. The campsite is easily accessed by road, and a mile away from the train station. We stayed for 3 nights and it is a beautiful location to decompress in. We swam in the river, and could have kayaked too if we hadnt been so lazy! The cabin had a porch to sit out on, cooking facilities and a fridge, and the beds were super comfy. On our second day, we found a lovely walk about a half an hour drive away, so hiked in the mountains. Definitely recommend.

“Quiet and convenient place to stop”
Convenient location on the long drive towards Oslo, nice setting and quiet despite being on the E6. Able to self cater, bed comfortable and good shower. Good check in at next door petrol station

“Adequate stopover and good value for money when camping is not an option”
After a day of rain we had planned to camp but chose this cabin to allow ourselves to dry out, it was perfect. Had small 2 ring cooker to allow us to cook. Toilet facilities were in a block and you needed a token for the shower, but it was all very adequate for our needs. Only spoilt in the evening by an HGV driver having a disco in the garage next door that he had parked up in for the night, norwegian heavy metal and 11pm when it is still broad daylight.
