“Best location for mountain views...”

Clearest views of Eiger and Mönch from the backyard. Room was clean and spacious enough. Only disadvantage is that there is no lift. Breakfast spread was good, although I would have preferred to have options for chicken as well. Location is close enough to Grindelwald station. Nearest bus stops take you to Grindelwald Terminal. Grindelwald First is about 10 minutes walking from the hotel.

We had the BEST view of the mountains from our terrace with the family room. The breakfast was great. Clean and tidy.

Excellent place to stay! The room was super comfortable and the view from the balcony was awesome! It was straight out of a postcard. No joke. The place is in the dead centre of Grindelvald. Super close to the train station. A bus stop is right opposite the place. There were convenience stores and Coop nearby as well. Mr Cristoph and Ms Birgett were super helpful and accommodating! The were very warm, welcoming and forthcoming with ideas on things to do around the region. Loved the stay!

Everything!! Location was great to get around the town and all that the Jungfrau area has to offer. The room and bathroom were spacious (next time I would book a balcony room, though, as the views are spectacular). Our host, Christoff was so friendly and helpful, especially with local travel knowledge. Breakfast was great. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The hotel was central and had parking right in front of the door. We could go everywhere by foot, it was the perfect location. And they served the best Bircher Müsli for breakfast I have ever had.

Beautiful hotel, comfy beds, clean rooms, fabulous breakfast, breathtaking scenery and most importantly incredibly friendly, helpful staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can not wait to return.

We really enjoyed our stay, it's a traditional, family owned 2 star, no bar, resto etc. The location was excellent opposite Barrys bar and restaurant at the Eiger hotel and next door to a great pub as well as many other places on the high street. The Eiger view room we had was large, comfortable and really clean, with a kettle and TV etc. The bathroom has recently been renovated and the furniture is clean and new, the view spectacular. The staff, especially Birgit and the young lady serving in the breakfast room were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, fresh baked goods, boiled eggs, fruit and ham, yogurt etc and local cheese. Excellent fresh coffee and tea. Free parking and a ski room we're also available. We would definitely return and are really glad to have supported a local, traditional place like this.

Excellent location in middle of Grindelwald and comfy bed and fabulous views from.the bedroom. Lovely staff and simple continental style breakfast, all fresh and fabulous coffee and orange juice and everything . All very clean and tidy and has a nice clean smell to the whole place

We paid for a room with Eiger view and it's totally worth it! Waking up to this view is just amazing. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The continental breakfast is delicious , offering different fresh bread, cheese and cold meat etc. The hotel is basic but it has everything that you need and is very charming
