Overview
The hotel is situated in the heart of Grindelwald, 5 minutes from the train station. The gondola up to the slopes, the ski school and the mountaineering office are also located close to Grindelwalderhof. The village centre, where shops and restaurants can be found, is a walking distance away. The hotel’s rooms and public areas are decorated in a traditional Swiss style and provide a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel provides a buffet breakfast. Guests can also enjoy relaxing times spent in the hotel's sauna or on the terrace enjoying the mountain scenery. the bus stop is right in front and that a supermarket is in the same building.

“Warm, welcoming, comfy and the best accommodation I have ever had!”
This has to be the absolutely best accommodation I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly, and step-by-step instructions on all the things we needed to know. The customer service from every staff member was outstanding. Perfect location on main street with the main bus stop directly out the front. The amenities were great! Sauna, balcony, pamper pack, tea/coffee, fruit, etc. The staff went out of their way with every single question we asked and provided THE BEST tourist info (didn't get much from the Tourist Centre). We ended up discovering more than we would have if it were not for the staff. Best ever!

“Nice hotel in great location”
Our family enjoyed very much our stay in this hotel. Room was tastefuly refurbished and cosy, plenty of space. Bathroom was also very spacious, enough space to place our affairs. Very clean! Breakfast contained many options, and were especially good for 3 stars hotel.

Great place to stay. Staff was very friendly and the First apartment we booked had breathtaking view from balcony. Central location and walking distance to everywhere in Grindelwald village. Bus stop right in front of hotel.

“Amazing hotel, such good value, delicious breakfast and fantastic sauna”
We loved this hotel and would thoroughly recommend, it was the nicest we stayed in during our Switzerland trip. The hotel itself is beautiful, located on the main street in Grindelwald, close to the ski lifts, a short walk from the train station and near all the restaurants. It's also right next door to a mini-supermarket. Our room was comfortable and beautiful, so warm (we had to keep our chocolate on the balcony or in the fridge to stop it melting!) with an incredible view of the mountains. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful, with plenty of info about the hotel and the area. And then the crowning glory was the sauna, use of which was included in the stay, no extra fees, you just had to book an hour slot (it's in a room with a shower, bathroom and sun loungers). We got plenty of use out of it as the hotel didn't seem too full when we were there.

Great location warm welcome staff most professional key system brilliant. Rooms warm, balcony brilliant access, view amazing and central. Room service lovely and cleaning staff just gorgeous. So central for Grindelwald first.
