⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hotel Cabana in Grindelwald gave us one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had in Switzerland. This is a smaller hotel, but everything about it felt warm, personal, and incredibly well managed. The location is perfect, within walking distance from the main train station, with plenty of restaurants and food places nearby. The surrounding scenery is absolutely stunning, with beautiful valley and mountain views that make the stay feel very special. We stayed for two nights in a room with a balcony opening towards the garden and valley, and we genuinely loved waking up to that view every morning. The rooms were spotless, neat, and very comfortable. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean as well, which was a huge plus for us. The hotel also provided complimentary water and made sure it was refilled daily, which was a thoughtful touch. What truly made this place stand out was the staff and service. Honestly, this has been our best experience with hotel staff so far. Everyone was incredibly kind, supportive, and welcoming throughout our stay. They even offered us a free sauna session, which was a wonderful experience after exploring the area. At the reception, there were free apples available for guests to grab as snacks, which added to the homely atmosphere. We also booked the breakfast option, and it was absolutely worth it. The breakfast spread had a very good variety of food, and the lady working in the kitchen was especially lovely and helpful. Every interaction felt genuine and caring. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every possible way. Cleanliness, location, views, breakfast, comfort, and especially hospitality were all outstanding. A 100000/10 experience from us and highly recommended to anyone visiting Grindelwald.

I like the view from my room. The room is clean. I stayed at ground floor and had the mountain view without any blocking. We had a quiet, peaceful and enjoyable stay. The location is good as well, just a 10 min walk to the train station and there is bus stop just 2 min away. It convenient. I would recommend this accomodation.

“Breathtaking view with friendly staff and cozy stay”

The view from the balcony was breathtaking, facing directly the Eiger Mountain, and seeing the village houses covered by snow was like in a fairy tale place. The day of the check out we need to leave before the breakfast time, the owner is kind enough to prepare us some food pack the night before for us.

This hotel is truly a power package. Not only is it a charming boutique, artisanal stay equipped with everything one could possibly need, but the attention to even the tiniest details sets it apart. We stayed here during our honeymoon and absolutely loved the experience. The breakfast was wonderful and delicious, the room and bathroom were spotless and beautifully maintained, and the views were simply gorgeous. The location is excellent—just a 10–15 minute walk from the Eiger Terminal, a 5-minute walk from Grindelwald station, with bus stops, cafés, restaurants, and shops all within easy walking distance. That said, you hardly need to step out, as the hotel thoughtfully provides liquor, snacks, ramen, and all essential amenities—such as toiletries and extra slippers—available for purchase at the counter. The atmosphere is quiet and calm, complemented by a lovely reading room with books and games. Thoughtful touches like chocolates on our pillows, clean drinking water, a wide selection of teas, ample storage space, and perfectly balanced heating made our stay even more comfortable. The staff were polite, warm, and extremely helpful. Paid parking is available, and the reception area is well stocked with useful information and pamphlets. We truly cannot stop appreciating this place and would return in a heartbeat. It offers the perfect Swiss experience.

The view of Eiger was awe inspiring, especially over Christmas! The room was warm, the bed was comfortable and the staff were ever so friendly! I will definitely recommend here! It’s also a close walk to everything in Grindawald town centre
