Overview
The Alpenblick hotel is situated about 600 metres from the centre of Grindelwald, right at the ski slope and a bus stop, and offers nice rooms and tasty food. In the restaurant and on the sunny terrace guests can select from fresh hot sandwiches, steaks, salads and desserts. Cheese fondue is available as well. The trendy bar is the meeting point in the afternoon and for Après-Ski and in the evening. Guests can also play billiard, dart and enjoy good music. About 200 km of ski slopes are accessible right from the doorstep of the Alpenblick hotel. 300 km of marked walking, hiking and biking paths are at guests' disposal during the warmer months. Climbing, paragliding, river rafting are just some of the possible activities in Grindelwald during summertime.

breakfast (and the view with it) was good, although the same every day, toilets and shared facilities were impeccably clean despite the amount of people sharing them fantastic location, walkable to grindelwald station even without a bus, and within walking distance to the first and pfingstegg cable cars so you are able to catch the first cable car to beat the crowd the profile of travellers that this place brings together were also amazing ~

“Excellent stay in Grindelwald”
We loved the location and the amazing view from our room. The staff were really friendly and the room, although simple, was very clean. We ate in the hotel restaurant both nights of our stay and the food was very good and a decent breakfast was included in our rate. We also liked that there was free parking, which most hotels on our trip through Austria and Germany seem to charge for. We felt that the hotel was very good value compared to other hotels in Grindelwald.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. There is a terrace connected to the restaurant and bar where you can sit and enjoy the views, and a second terrace upstairs if you want to bring your own food to enjoy with the views. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean.

“Great hotel nice staff definitely recommend”
We had a family room sleeping up to six with the attic so lots of space, nice clean room with staff willing to clean every day as well clean towels every day. Location was great bus stop just outside the hotel. Breakfast served from 7.00am if you want to go very early to the cable car.
