Overview
Located in Norway's sunniest town, set amongst charming old timber houses and situated next to the small and picturesque Market Square, is the Clarion Collection Hotel Grimstad. The Grimstad Maritime Museum and the seaside are just a short walk away. Accommodation is offered in both deluxe and standard rooms and many rooms also have air-conditioning. “Cosy hotel right in the city centre”
Very central cosy hotel good for exploring the city and coast. Very convenient is the inclusion of breakfast, fika and dinner - although it doesn’t give you the opportunity to explore local cuisine.

“A good hotel to explore the coastal towns.”
Good hotel layout with breakfast/dining area and large spacious lobby with tables for games and socialising. Comfy rooms, great staff. Easy to get around with buses. The evening meals were a surprise but were welcome. We had the no choice hot options each evening of fish fingers, tikka masala and taco lasagne. There were also salads available. Breakfast was excellent.

“Generally nice, but....”
Dinner and coffee was included in the price. Reasonable good quality, so it made the evening search for food much easier. The building is nice with interesting architecture.
