Beautifully maintained property with accommodation presented to a very high standard. The hosts were friendly, accommodating and made our stay very comfortable - even little details such as homemade baking put in the room. One of the most enjoyable stays we’ve had.

Absolutely beautiful and very old colonial house from the mid to late 1800s, with a pretty garden. Great ambience. Exquisitely decorated. Very warm welcome from our hostess, with great attention to detail and to our comfort. She was very accommodating which we appreciated. Our bed was extremely comfortable. A strong shower. Everything we needed, including coffee machine and breakfast croissants (on request). We were charmed the moment we entered through a library area, saw the elegant sitting room with its garden outlook and open fireplace, then up the old wooden staircase to a large and stylishly furnished bedroom. We wished we could have stayed longer as it was a really lovely experience that we would highly recommend.

The ambience of the whole venue is amazing

Luxury accommodation in a Heritage 2 listed house. The rooms are beautifully furnished and the house felt very peaceful and quiet. George the cat was a delight. Carmel and Stuart were wonderful hosts. Really enjoyed the delicious breakfast and homebaking.

What a fabulous place to stay. So special, and the added treats and croissants for breakfast were amazing. Thank you so much.

The character of the house and the hospitality of the owners and an amazing coincidence. Unbeknownst to us our friends were staying in the room across the landing!

Beautiful house in a superb location. Carmel and Stu (and George the cat) were lovely hosts. We were made to feel very welcome and Carmel's baking is reason enough for us to return!

No breakfast was available. Host has ceased providing. Small problem with a pool filter left running accidentally. Without that would have been a better sleep. Genuine error though and hosts were a bit mortified they’d forgotten to turn off. Hosts quite lovely and very accommodating and lent us their push bikes to cycle around town.

The best girls weekend getaway ! This home is oozing with charm as it has beautiful decor to complement the old style house and is very welcoming from the moment you arrive . Carmel was a great hostess as she welcomed us early and had great facilities with coffee, tea , and orange juice . She also baked a lovely slice for us which was so yummy. The home was very warm and we enjoyed having the open fire lit for the evening in the lounge where we could read and play board games. The gardens were also beautiful and well maintained. Overall our stay was one to remember and we would love to come again . Also George the cat was a great bonus !
