Cherry and Paul are truly some of the kindest and most welcoming people we have met in New Zealand. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel so comfortable and genuinely cared for. We stayed at the Loft during our trip to the Golden Shears, and after long days , our favourite part was always coming back to it. The Loft is beautifully decorated but still feels cosy and comfortable Cherry very kindly made us some home baking during our stay, which was absolutely amazing and such a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot to us. My partner and I have been away from our home in Scotland for several months now, and it can sometimes be hard to feel at home when you’re so far away. But during our time here, we truly did feel at home. Cherry and Paul created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made our stay really special. We are so grateful we had the chance to stay here, and it’s a place we will always remember fondly. If you’re booking accommodation in New Zealand, I honestly couldn’t recommend the Greytown Loft more highly. It’s a truly special place with wonderful hosts and a very sweet dog (Murphy)

The Loft is exceptional in every sense of the word. Very friendly welcome, spotlessly clean, beautiful decor, and great location (very quiet, but only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of town). The breakfast and everything provided is way beyond what you would ever get anywhere else.

Gorgeous self-contained room, with all the small touches that make a stay so special. Luxurious, cosy and so peaceful. Hosts who were so accommodating and professional. We left very reluctantly when our weekend away came to an end. Cannot recommend highly enough.

A stunning space to relax in. The loft is impeccably presented and incredibly close to the town centre, yet feels peaceful and private. Cherry is a wonderful host. She gives a brief introduction to the loft on arrival and then leaves you to enjoy the space in complete privacy. We were welcomed with a gorgeous gingerbread to nibble on, and the breakfast and treats Cherry provides are wonderful. The extra touches are impeccable, from the delicious tea and coffee selection to marshmallows ready for your hot chocolate. Everything has been thoughtfully prepared. A tranquil delight. Go and enjoy.

The apartment wowed us right from opening the door and kept giving for our wonderful 3 nights there! Cherry and Paul were great hosts and made us feel so welcome and were so helpful. From the ambiance of the room with quality linens & furnishings to Cherry's decorating touches, we were pampered & relaxed. The bed was super comfortable. Beautiful bath and bathroom with underfloor heating, robes to use & quality toiletries. Loved Cherry's welcoming ginger loaf for afternoon tea! Breakfast provided was very generous, from home stewed apple, nut Muesli, yoghurt, bread, large array of condiments & milks. Location to Greytown Shopping Village was amazing, just across the road & down a drive - yet it was so quiet. We were there for the Mid Winter Christmas & loved every minute of the opening night of the festival, such a great winter occasion to go to. We felt very spoilt & rested after our 3 night stay - a sumptuous space with super hosts. Definitely will be returning and recommending to all. Thanks so much Cherry, Paul & special dog Murphy!

Attention to detail was first class. Very warm and comfortable. Lots of extras were provided which they didn’t need too but it makes you feel at home. Great communication from the host to keep us updated which helped with the planning of our trip.
