Very clear instructions re door code, parking etc. excellent outdoor lighting for returning in the evening. I liked that there was composting and recycling facilities.

I stayed here with my husband and toddler while we were in town for a wedding and it was absolutely perfect for our needs! The house is beautiful and comfortable with little extras very thoughtfully in place. I was able to prepare meals very easily and the hosts even left a number of lovely toys and books out for my daughter to play with during our stay. We were so appreciative of the extra thought that went into our stay.

Loved our stay at The Castle, what a fabulous place. It has a very nice sunny deck to have a relaxing glass of wine before heading into town for dinner. The Top Pub was a great choice for our dinner. Bed was very comfy, shower was fantastic, hosts had left milk & tea etc , nothing bad to report at all.

Everything felt spacious, from the rooms to the shower. The bed was super comfy. Loved all the thoughtful touches. Everything you could need for a short, or even slightly longer stay, was there! We had a lovely stay and would love to go back.

Hidden gem !! Absolutely lovely place with stunning hosts! Could not felt more comfortable. Real castle :)

Great location close to the centre of town, no traffic noise as it was double glazed and one street back from the main road, full kitchen (including full size oven) so we could go shopping at the supermarket, great place to use as a base to explore the area

Lovely private space with personal touches from the host. Clean and well maintained with easy access. We visited the restaurant recommended by the host which was fantastic.
