Great location and hosts attended to our requests with care. Our small dog was welcome and everything we needed for a 3 night stay was provided. A great place to relax or explore the beautiful countryside.

We enjoyed the friendliness of our hosts and the generous offerings of food. A lovely touch. We will definitely go again. Wonderful value for money too.

The owners were delightful, and the dogs. The fresh bread and other supplies were exceptional. We loved the quiet location with the trees. It was within walking distance to the town. A lovely, peaceful home away from home. Very homely and comfortable, and well equipped. Our host was welcoming and very accommodating and generous. Lovely fresh loaf of bread that was waiting for us when we arrived rather late in the day was a wonderful touch - we did not wait for breakfast time to dive in! We also loved the three adorable dogs (we didn't get to meet Boris the cat). This is just a fabulous place to spend a few nights when you're in the Greytown area.

We had a lovely stay. Niels and Janette were very welcoming and we loved meeting their adorable trio of dogs. The location was handy to town but very peaceful. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. The homemade bread, fresh eggs, and cereal for breakfast were a treat after a great night’s sleep.

Hosts were friendly and helpful. The dogs were also friendly. Janette kindly allowed us to use some of her garden flowers in bouquets that we were making for a wedding. She also provided additional crockery, tea, coffee and milk as we had asked if we could invite some friends to come to the cottage for a cup of tea in between the wedding service and reception. Unfortunately, there was not enough time to do this. We also appreciated having the opportunity to pick some lemons to take home.

Comfy main bed, great breakfast supplies of fresh bread, eggs, cereals, milk and spreads. Different teas, coffee and hot chocolate options. Nice patio areas at front and on side of cottage which unfortunately we couldn't make use of due to wind and rain. Convenient to have extra bed in living space for extra person, in our case, my sister. Good communication from host. Friendly dogs on the property who caused no trouble for my sister and I who are a little nervous of dogs we don't know. Handy wee kitchen for self catering.

Fantastic stay, friendly owners, great being away from traffic! Welcomed by the friendly dogs, home baked bread,marmalade,honey and eggs along with Cereals and a fully stocked little pantry of goods! Kids got to feed the lambs they were watching for a friend. Great environment to be in when you just want to chill out. Absolutely recommend 👌 👍

Breakfast including home baked delicious bread, seasonal fruit, eggs, Jam, butter and so on. Nice big yard. Shower water is just right amount with gentle edequate flow. House is sufficiently supplied with crockery and linen. Good heating. Cosy home away home. Definitely come back again.
