So quaint and homely. Out of town enough to feel like you’re away but close enough to pop out if you need to. Gail was so lovely and accommodating and nice to deal with. Yummy free range eggs for brekkie.

Peaceful and cosy. Super friendly host, who has thought of everything from kitchen supplies to books and games. Chooks providing fresh eggs for breakfast. Young teenager was very excited to have his own ‘house’ (sleep-out connected by external decking), and little brother enjoyed all the bumblebee furnishings and decorations.

Absolutely lovely cottage in an idyllic place. Peaceful area and a beautiful garden (complete with very friendly chickens.) Beautifully furnished and decorated - loved the artworks - very comfortable. Breakfast was an extra bonus, as was the fact that the hosts seem to have thought of absolutely everything that you might need for a stay. Lovely hosts - very helpful and accommodating. I am only sorry that we couldn't stay longer, but we will definitely be back. Thank you so much for the stay.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Bumblebee cottage which was cute and comfortable. Gail, the owner was so awesome and accommodating. She welcomed us on arrival and even collected eggs from the free range hens outside for our breakfast (and gave us a few to take home as well!). Love the bee theme throughout the cottage! We were in Greytown for the Winter festival and the accommodation was only a 7 min drive away so that was great. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely, warm, cute little cottage. Really well stocked place, everything you needed, and a lovely breakfast provided. Picturesque grounds with hens roaming around. Hosts are lovely people, very accommodating and helpful, more than happy to give us a few extra eggs etc. We were a group of 5 friends and suited us fine.

Location stunning, looking out the windows into the garden. So homely and comfy. Love the little touches like the homemade jam in the fridge, bread, milk, fresh eggs from the chickens that roam freely.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting, fresh eggs for breaky with producers of said calling by and even into the cottage, No matter how hard we squeezed they would not drop directly into the pan. Highly recommend for any Wairarapa visit, easy drive to everywhere.
