“An unforgettable lovely experience at a wonderful accommodation”

It has been a lovely stay at the Goldfield Suites! First of all, Andy And Jolene are unbelievable nice people and hosts. They really maid the stay unforgettable. The room is very big with a living room and a separate bedroom. The Bathroom is very huge. In the kitchen there was everything you need at the arrival and even some fresh small cakes. Lovely ! We stayed there „luckily“ two nights due to the wonderful experience. But even if you only wanna make one stop in Greymouth to catch the Train towards Christchurch, is this the place to stay. We had fresh cooked breakfast in a separate living room with the other guests and it felt like being together in a family chat. Everybody told where she/he is from and what their trip looks liked. We even booked a dinner with Andy and Jolene and this is what you really have to do as well! They cooked a lamb for several hours and we sat together with them and two other guests about 2,5hours, having dinner, dessert and an unforgettable nice chat about a lot of things. We will definitely come back to them and wanna thank you again for this lovely experience. A last recommendation to the guests: definitely go outside on a clear sky. Because the accommodation is a little bit outside of the city, it is very dark and you have an unbelievable view of the southern sky hemisphere!

Warm cozy. Very well run. was probably our best stay on our trip. The owners , Andrew and Jolene run it very professionally as you would see at a major hotel line. But you get the added bonus of warm , friendly hosts , which extends to the accommodation through their passion and pride and what they do. The breakfast was cooked fresh to order .

“Comfortable, quiet”

Spacious, clean and comfortable suite. The welcome ginger slice was a nice surprise. Andrew was a friendly and knowledgeable host who makes a mean omelette. His tip to take a helicopter ride from Hokitika was spot on - the ride was exceptional and we were the only heli in the air.

Awesome accommodation in a beautiful setting. Our host was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him. We had delicious home cooked dinner and breakfast which was lovingly prepared. The attention to detail was incredible and made for a very comfortable stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this accommodation and would certainly rebook for any future trips.

Very lovely place to stay! Very clean, nicely decorated Apartment with a well equiped kitchen corner. The breakfast was great for a B&B, as you were able to choose from different cereals options (including some fresh fruit) as well as cooked options - along with some great New Zealand insights from the lovely hosts Jolene and Andrew. Can only recommend to go there!

A really good well maintained set.of.lodges and cabins. The owners were just wonderful. The room we had was very clean and very comfortable. They now do B&B which is served in the dunning room cabin overlooking a lovely lawn. We had dinner there which the owners prepared. It was very tasty and filling. The location is just outside Greymouth yet if you want to go into town it's only a 5 mins drive. Great views from both the cabins and the dinning room. Well recommended.

Very quiet location just out of greymouth surrounded by nature. Fairly well equipped kitchenette, although the milk frother for coffee machine wasn’t working although the hostess was unaware of this. Hostess gave us information on what to do during our stay.
