“Luxurious retreat in the hills”

Fantastic location on a hill above Greve-in-Chianti. We stayed for 5 nights and were upgraded when we arrived. Lots of thought has gone into making this a relaxing and luxurious retreat. The food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. We ate in the restaurant on two nights and walked down to Greve via the footpath through the vineyards for the other three. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The wine tasting was great and we also had a massage.

“Peaceful Stay in the Heart of Chianti”

A quiet retreat in the heart of Chianti! The hotel is beautifully renovated, surrounded by plenty of green areas, with a pool, gym, restaurants, and a bar and farm animals. The staff was very friendly, and we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade upon arrival since we had our dogs—getting a bigger room was much appreciated. The interiors were stunning, and breakfast was delicious with lots of local food. We also enjoyed great meals at the restaurant. The front office staff was welcoming, and having parking at the hotel was very convenient. A special shout-out to Marco—he was incredibly friendly and super nice. We’ll always remember him as part of this wonderful experience!

This is truly such a dreamy property, elegantly managed and kept up really well! The staff is so kind and attentive, the vineyards and views are stunning, the included wine tasting and the pool area were really such a highlight! This place is stunning and tranquil. The location is perfect, walking down into Greve. But wider in the region of Chianti to Siena and Florence. It was super clean, and felt very special and magical with all the animals. We were able to wine taste in the cellar which was fantastic, the pool was so scenic and the pool loungers comfortable. Everyone was helpful; Sabrina from the off was welcoming and knowledgeable- small touches like changing music at dinner for us, innes with her comedic style and knowledge of introducing us to wine in the complementary wine tasting, Brolio was always there and ready to help… on the bar waiting and for our fantastic holiday moment driving in the Fiat. Ghenti was a superb chef and we had fabulous foods.

The grounds were well maintained and overall very nice and all the food we had there was amazing. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. There was more than enough space for our toiletries which is always appreciated. The pool is amazing! The water temp was perfect and there is a bar with a lot of great options. It is a short walk from town if you want to explore Greve. Greve isn't very big but it is definitely within walking distance.

Breakfast and dinner was awesome. Staff was extraordinary. Marco went the extra mile to entertain us. He is amazing. Illaria and Sabrina were also great staff. They all treated us like family and we had an excellent experience.

Very lovely stay at Terre di Baccio! Me and my partner were impressed the whole time through our stay! Starting with communication before we even arrived. We needed to rearrange the dates of our trip and they were very helpful and accommodating. When we arrived, we were greeted very nicely by the staff. The building is situated on quite a steep hill. They offer to come and collect you from the bottom. As we were waiting, everyone who was driving in offered us a lift up the hill. Everybody was so friendly it was a lovely place to stay! The room was lovely! We received a complimentary upgrade to a suite which had an amazing view! Dinner was lovely. The server was very helpful and kind. Dinner feels very intimate as when we were eating there were only 3 other couples. The chef kept coming out at points to play the piano which was lovely. Breakfast is complimentary with your stay. This is also very nice. Most of the food is made from ingredients grown at Terre de Baccio! It was very lovely and a good variety. There is so much to do here! We had a lovely walk around the property grounds. They have a variety of animals that you are able to watch them being fed. There is a pool, hot tub and small gym. The pool area is very lovely, with a bar where you can get drinks or snacks. There is a short route through the vineyards into the small town which is also worth a visit! Finally we experienced the wine tasting which is complimentary as part of your stay. This was a highlight of our trip! Ines is very friendly and welcoming and very knowledgeable about the wines! She made us feel comfortable, there was no pressure to buy the wines. She also informed us that Terre de Baccio has a restaurant in the small town, and that you get discount there while you are staying. We didn’t try this restaurant out however it looked very nice! This was an amazing stay and I hope to visit Terre de Baccio again in the future!

LOOOOVED this hotel, what an absolute gem! Everything is perfect, massive grounds, the friendliest staff, helpful. Execellnr design, authentic but so luxurious. Loved this place. Also dinner was the best we had in Italy in the hotel restaurant and the chef is so friendly

The most amazing stay - at highlight of all of my travels. The property and surrounds itself, absolutely stunning. Photos don’t do it justice. The staff - amazing. We did a wine tasting with Ines and highly recommend. Food - all organic and locally sourced. The chef Marco came out during dinner and played the piano and it was truly amazing! Loved every minute, and will definitely plan to visit again next time we are on this side of the world!
