Overview
With a panoramic hilltop location overlooking the vineyards and olive groves of Chianti, Rifugium is 8 km from Greve in Chianti centre. It includes an infinity pool with salt water and outdoor hot tub. This rural building offers rooms and self-catering apartments with terracotta floors, wood-beamed ceilings and traditional furniture. Modern facilities include free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. All mattresses are made of entirely natural products. A generous breakfast buffet, including Tuscan specialities, is available daily at the Rifugium. There is a small shop on site selling local produce. Karaoke nights are organised in the summer.

Amazing gem in the Tuscan hills around Chianti. Exceptional facilities (pool, jacuzi, grill, table tennis, etc) very well maintained. Great view within a quiet environment. A little off the beaten path.

Our stay at Rifugium was great. From the beautiful road letting up the mountain to the amazing views over the valley and the calm and peaceful premises. We stayed at a cottage called Fortino which was truly a refuge – all by ourselves with nature around the corner. The host Daniele was very friendly and helpful. We would 10/10 recommend to anyone that's seeking a get away off the beaten track.

Amazing location, huge property with a very nice outdoor space, a big pool and surrounded by the sound of nature. The host Daniele has been very welcoming and made sure we had a great stay by providing us a full breakfast in the morning and giving us recommendations on things to do! Perfect spot if you want to be far from the city caos.

“Hidden gem for a relaxing holiday”
- Wonderful view over the Chianti area - Daniele is a very helpful and kind owner (and his dog is lovely) - The facilities are just great (infinity pool, sunbeds, ping pong table, giant chess field, table soccer, jacuzzi, …) - Very nice place to get away from the busy city life and relax surrounded by beautiful nature - Very clean and spacious rooms

“A feeling a luxury in a very cool and chill ambiance”
Rifugium is a lovely place, very quiet with a stunning view. The owner is really nice and will make his best to make your stay comfortable. We appreciated the chill ambiance. The equipments are high standard and yet there is a relax feeling. We enjoyed the commune barbecue for example.
