“Lovely secluded location in Chianti within 1 hour drive of both Florence and Val d‘Orcia”
Lovely secluded location. Charming big rooms and the staff was very friendly. There is a mini honesty bar in the communal area but apart from that, there are no other food or drink options. Best to plan ahead and bring some snacks/drinks with you to enjoy in the garden or near the pool. Unfortunately the pool was closed when we went - I reckon it opens in May - so double check with the property first. Many people point out the drive as something they didn’t enjoy about the property but it really is fine and I had no issues with the VW Golf I rented. Worth it for the location!

The rooms are incredible — everything restored and preserved with so much love and attention to detail. Not worn down at all, and very clean. That’s quite an achievement with a historic building like this. Jamille gave us wonderful tips about the heart of Chianti, and breakfast even included homemade cake.

“Lovely getaway”
Lovely room with an incredible view to the Tuscany fields. Friendly and helpful staff, especially the Brazilian lady and her husband who shared some travel tips and even found some veggies for the Instagram-like breakfast tray.

It is a wonderful place. We planned to stay only one night on the way to Sicilia but we stayed 2 nights. Personal is very helpful and Jamilla is a right person for her position. Sure we will be back for a longer staying. Thank you.

“Does take you out of this world if that is what you you are looking for.”
Excellent booking. Rooms are as pictured and authentic. Nice breakfast and we benefited from there also being a chef on duty for a function that night. Good food. And the wider Chianti area around the hotel is just beautiful to drive. We were a late October booking so swimming pool was closed (as advised/expected). A great place to stay to relax in summer, lovely atmosphere, but the access road does not support multiple comings and goings.

“Chianti getaway in Tuscany”
Lovely views, friendly and accommodating staff. An excellent full breakfast (included) plus homemade baked goods. We also ate dinner. Sergio, the chef, is both excellent and generous. Watched the sunset with a bottle of Chianti. We had a laidback relaxing time.

“Nice place and very enjoyable stay”
I really liked the place and it's amenities. Nice comunal areas to read or chill with a glass of wine. The buildings have that old style design which makes it perfect for the Tuscany countryside experience. The staff was very welcoming and helpful both during checking, giving guidance for places to eat or do wine tasting in the area; and also during the breakfast serving the lady there was very nice and helpful. The rooms are big and have comfortable beds so sleep was fine. The pool area is perfect for relaxing, reading, etc. There is a honesty bar inside the reception building where you can help yourself with drinks and then pay at the check out, which is fine since there are no restaurants or bars at walking distance. There is a small wine factory nearby (5mins walking) where they offer a tour and wine tasting for around 30€/person, other than that you'd need to take the car for other places /activities. All in all it was a very good and enjoyable experience

“Amazing stay in the heart of Tuscany.”
The lady who was helping us out during breakfast was so kind. Breakfast was quite good, the view near the place was amazing, it was great to have a glass and watch. Location was great easy to get to all the towns. There are great restaurant nearby.

“Beautiful spot in the Tuscan Hills”
The resort is situated in the Tuscan hills and is extremely relaxing, we loved sitting outside in nature watching the sun set. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. We loved our stay !

“The perfect romantic weekend away”
Lovely country retreat in a romantic setting on a vine-covered hill with large rooms, comfortable beds, a scenic pool and views across the Tuscan countryside. The staff were professional, polite and amenable even though we arrived later than planned - 100% would recommend.
