Overview
Set in the central square of Greve in Chianti, Albergo Del Chianti offers an outdoor salt-water swimming pool, and tasting sessions of homemade wine, grappa and olive oil. All rooms are air conditioned, and come with free Wi-Fi and a plasma-screen TV. Each room has its own private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer. Breakfast is buffet style and includes scrambled eggs, cold meats, cheese and cereal. All cakes are homemade. Albergo Del Chianti's central location means you can easily reach Greve's most popular restaurants and shops. “Wonderful restful stay, I miss it already”
Room was clean and adequate. Sadly the air conditioning was on the blink so not as effective as it could have been but we were fine. The breakfast was lovely, plenty of it and a wide selection. Staff were lovely and so helpful. They were a delight. Great location, easy to travel to other places and Greve in Chianti is so so beautiful. The pool and the bar were also such a bonus especially as it was so hot.

“An enjoyable stopover in clean and comfortable accommodation.”
We stayed in The Albergo more than 15 years ago when my daughter married in Italy. The hotel has changed owners since then and has been refurbished . Our stay was early in the season but we found the hotel clean, comfortable and very good value for money. Ideal location in central Greve convenient for lots of restaurants and local amenities.
